The rice test

Hi girls,

well I left my surgeon consult on the advice to go home and do the rice test to see if I liked the size for sure. I thought at the consult that it was way too small but my PC said they would be bigger when fitted because I would have my breast tissue on top. Plus she had the same cc as me and we’re similar stats.

So i’ve done the rice test and its just put me off big time. They look vile. They’re not big enough and they are so heavy and saggy and awful. I know its not an implant and they are not under my natural breast tissue, plus i guess i could be wearing a better bra (as i havent bought my post of bra yet) but still they are awful. I don’t feel good in them. Should I be worried about the final result? I’m having 525cc the biggest I can go unless I change the type of implant. Should I ask for bigger?

What size are you now? I had 525 from a 34a and am in a 34DD sports bra there not as big as I thought they’d be but I’m really happy with the size of them they got perfectly with my figure aswell x

I’m a small deflated 32 B. I breast fed two boys so I’m trying to gain size but also my fullness and volume back. I would like to be no smaller than DD but hoping for an E.

Hey – the rice test is a good to get a rough idea on size however your implants aren’t going to look the same – at the end of the day you have a bag of rice in your bra! I tried it just to get an idea of size not the overall look. I am due to have my ba on the 22nd so haven’t got any pics yet – however if you are friends with some of the other girls have a look at their pics because the end result is so much different. I have had a bit of a panic over size so rang my PC the other day and she is going to let me try on the sizing kits at the clinic – maybe ask your PC if you can do the same? Hopefully it will give you a better idea of what they would look like? X

I tried rice sizers and wore them around the house to cage an idea of size. Mine ended up nothing like the size I picked!! I had 415cc and they are way smaller than the rice ones I made. I was very dissapointed at first but they are looking better every day as they round out. Went from a 34a and currently wearing a 34DD sports bra but tried a few on in M&S the other day (and used a couple of online bra size claculators) and Im looking at a 32DD/E!!!! Happy with that :)….dont look anywhere near that big though. xx

Would anyone else say that your boobs once they were done, were smaller than when you tried the rice test? I am torturing myself about 295cc or 335 cc unders teardrop implants. I have literally walked around with rice in my bra all day today, It should be cooked by now! I don’t want them too be too big that every one will notice cause I am telling no one except my husband but I don’t want them to be too small.

Thank you for your responses! I’ve kept it in all day trying to figure this out and called my PC I was so worried. But now I’m concerned they’ll be smaller than this rice test! I feel they are nice but I want slightly bigger. It’s so hard to trust the surgeon and PC on what they’re advising :/ XX
