SURELY has to be the sex ban!!

How long we holding off ladies? I’m 3 DPO and not sure how much longer this can go on!!

Lol!! I was thinking the same thing today haha im 5DPO and wondering how many more bloody days have to have this ban.. to be honest the alcohol ban is hard for me too lol xx

Hmmm I’m not too fussed about the alcohol. Although a cigarette would be quite nice!
Not sure I can hold out on the sex though!! If it wasn’t for fear of popping my new boobs I’d be struggling! 😀

Girls… i felt your pain.. i was so used to having sex 5/6 times a week. The first week it didnt bother me as i was so sore i didnt even think about it. But it got really hard in the 2nd week. By the end of the 2nd week id given in lol

Rachel!! Someone who understands! I take it you had no adverse effects afterwards, despite it being less than 2 weeks after your op?

So funny I was talking about this today with my boyfriend! I’m having mine on Monday and all I am concerned about with is whether I will be ok for Christmas Day and the sex ban! I’d be interested to hear what other girls say about this too as a 4 week (I think it’s 4 weeks? ) ban is way too long for me and my other half!

Where did you get 4 weeks from Ally?!? :O I was told 2 (and even then I was upset).

I’ll only be 12 days post op on Xmas day but I will be having a couple of glasses of wine!!

I’m having my op tomorrow and I’ll only be 8 days post op on Christmas Day but I defo plan to have a glass of wine then! What’s Christmas without a drink or 2 hahah

I had sex 4dpo with strapping and 10do without. I didn’t put much effort in so thought it would be ok… Lol

Lol i caved in last night .. 6DPO .. i think its fine if u just half lay down and dont move much lol i wasnt in any pain and im fine this morning 🙂 xx

I didn’t realise there was a sex ban! I had it when I felt comfortable and not in pain which was at POD10 . He just did all the work and didn’t touch my boobs xx

I’m so confused so when are we actually allowed alcohol and sex?

I did it 5DPO but carefully and now I’m worried. I did have strapping on.

Is it 6 weeks like the gym?

my surgeon reccomended 2 weeks no sex because of the movement and getting your heart rate up can cause the boobs to swell which is why we aren’t allowed to run. Aslong as your confortable and it doesn’t hurt then I think it’s fine. I just let my partner to the work and not touch my boobs haha, but now I’m just over 3 weeks post op and my partner really wants to squeeze my
boobs etc lol so I’m wondering when everyone else started touching their boobs???

I drank alcohol 3 days after my op (Christmas) and it was fine just don’t take any medications that day so it doesn’t affect you.

My surgeon said gentle gym activity and jogging can be resumed at 4 weeks but 2-3 months for heavy lifting and vigorous activities.

Thanks for your reply this is encouraging two weeks is a lot better than six yiper!! I’m also missing the gym too 🙁

Yes I would be interested if anyone knows when you can touch the boobs lol probably a lot further along. Mine are too tender to touch now at this stage yet.

Finish my antibiotics tomorrow but I’m still taking the painkillers but only paracetamol. So maybe I can have a celebration drink soon that would be nice 🙂

Hey girls!! just came across this and omg!! i didn’t even realise there was a sex ban!!
i’m 12DPO and i had sex for the first time with new boobies 2 days ago!! Now i’m interested to know how long we was meant to of waited hahaa! it must be different for everyone. xx
