I really really want it done, theres just a few things that put me off ! How long do you have to wait before you can exercise? And what are your plans for 10-15 years time.. will you get them redone? What if I cant afford it in 15 years ?? x

Go for it, I’m nearly 2 weeks post op and I love them so much and don’t regret it one bit. I am waiting 6 weeks before I go back to the gym, and yes I plan to get them redone 10-15 years I’ll be mid 30s then and hopefully will have finished having kids and they will probably need redoing by then anyway (after breast feeding etc).
I’m putting aside some money every month so that by 10 years I will have more than enough to get a re-augmentation xx

do the mentor implants not last a lot longer then that? I am sure my pc told me they last forever so do they need to be done every 10 years ? xxx

I was told mentor implants last around 30 years!! And u don’t always need to get them redone, that’s only if u get problems such as capsular contraction or implant rupture…the longer u have them in the higher the risk of these happening is. So technically you could keep them in forever if there are no problems :)) You have to wait 6 weeks to exercise but it will all be worth it in the end!! Xx

I was told that they last 40 years in terms of the actual implant but my surgeon said that like everything else as you get older they will sag. I plan to have mine done again in say 10/15 years time because of how they will look (after kids and getting older!) xx
