Thursday Preston

So I’ve had my admission time for 11am this Thursday at the first trust Preston. I’m struggeling with the time as I was told it would be early in the morning and I’ve now got to try and juggle around childcare for 3 children, I’m so upset :'( I would of been happy with any time of day as long as I got my boobies but id already arranged everything for earlier on. I’ve contacted Mya 6377262626 times and the girls have been fantastic but I feel like I’m doing their heads in now. I’m so worried I’ll have to miss it. They said they would try to find somebody who was willing to swap times with me but I can’t see anybody giving up an earlier slot. Has anybody ever managed to get an earlier admission time after already being given one? What time have people left the hospital at from an 11am admission? xxx

Hi hun my op is to moz and my original time slot was for 2pm until I got an email this morning and it was changed for 8am the moz morning soo there’s always time to change Hun it’s been a nightmare for me also running about trying to find child care tonight and I will have to set off at half 5 in morning to get there early xxxx

My admission was 11am and I went down about 2pm and I left at about 5:45ish. Everyone is different though as I’ve heard some people not getting away until 9 and 10 at night. Hope you get sorted xxx

@staceymlx Thanks hun! I live in hope haha. Aww that’s good I bet you’re happy you will have your boobies even earlier. You’re really lucky to have over night childcare it’s been hard enough trying to find somebody for the day as the only person I trust with them other than my partner and he will be with me is my friend and she’s switched shifts so she can have them during the day. If I’m in at 11 I can’t see me making it home for 8. Only 1 more sleep for you now 😀 😀 😀 xxx

@xlarlarx that’s really quick! 11 wouldn’t be an issue if I was in and out that fast but knowing my luck I’d be waiting six hours lol xxx

You have your own room Hun. I was gutted when I got a 11am admission but it wasn’t as bad as I’d thought. When I got there the nurse said I was 5th on the list and I was thinking great I’m gona be stuck here all day and night but he was already onto him 2nd so really only had to wait for 2 or 3 more people. Have you had anaesthetic before? Xxx

Thats good I thought you had share a room. I was the same yesterday I couldnt believe it! had it in my head I’d already be done and dusted by 11 waiting to go home haha. Yeah I’ve had it a couple of times before. Does that make a difference to the time? Xxx

Yeah I was the same I was hoping for a 7am admission lol! I did request a morning but technically 11am is still morning haha. No it doesn’t make a difference I’m only asking because I’ve had one before so I know if I take to them well or not. If you wer fine with your last one you should be fine this time and if your like me and hate sitting about u will make yourself good as quick as u can to go home if that makes sense ha that’s what I done. I had a 2.5 hour drive back aswell xxx

Haha me too I’m really bad for waiting I like everything done yesterday. No patience at all so I’ll be skipping out of theatre going “I’m good to go now” haha. It’s only an hour to the hospital from me so isn’t too bad. I’m just hoping for an early time so everything else goes smoothly xxx

@rachael it’s been a nightmare to find over night childcare but luckly my dads agreeed to have then m and I can’t wait to get new boobs earlier xxxx
