I am just at my initial consultation stage which i have tomorrow. I am so excited as i have wanted boobs since i can remember (currently an A cup) however i am worried about the time i will need to take off work.
I am a self-employed Sports Massage Therapist – so very hands on. Just wondering how long people took off work with a hands on job? Obviously being self-employed i wont get paid for the time i need off so need to plan in advance.
Hey honey! I took a week off work. I don’t do much by way of listing or standing for long periods. The first week you are going to be tired and need plenty of rest so definitely need to take a week off however be mindful that you may need a little more. the healing process is different for everyone. I thought I’d be fine with just a week but have been told you mya I need a further week off because I developed a haematoma at 4dpo. I’m fine now 8dpo but still in some pain and walking is difficult, every step you take is hard work but as I say it’s different for everyone. Just wanted you to know a other experience. xx hope it all goes well for you sweetie and you heal with no issues xxxx
thanks ladies, i was thinking of taking 3-4 weeks off do you think thats enough? i suppose everyone heals differently but i dont want to jeopardise how they heal either by going back to work too early. xxx
I booked 3 weeks off as I work with children and ended up extending it to 4 weeks as I still wasn’t at the stage of being able to do my normal routine. You’ve just got to go off how you feel, everyone’s healing is different xxx
