How much time off work should i take to fully recover from my BA. Asked my manger for time off and she’s only givin me a week, do you reckon that’s enough? I work in retail btw

    Unders or overs?

If unders then I think you might need a second week off and another two to four weeks not carrying heavy things.

Don’t think my manager will give me anymore time off… Guess I’m just going to have to take it easy

I think it depends on the individual hun! My friend had unders and she had her Op on the Friday and was back at work (office job) on the Tuesday afterwards and she felt ABSOLUTLY fine! Obviously everyone is different! She’s got 2 kids also to run around after! Lol hope you recover well xxx

My op is this Sunday and I am back to work (office job) on Wednesday for a half day, I am having unders. Luckily I don’t move in my job and don’t lift anything either. X

Heyy! I had my op on the saturday, had a week off work (office job) and then went back on the monday. Also had unders.
I waited a couple of extra days before driving but by weds was fine! Jus a little awkward!
Its amazing how much u actually use your chest muscles without realising. 3 days after my ba i cudnt bite into an apple. Lol!!

I had 2 weeks off work but I have quite a physical job. I had anatomical unders, and i found it difficult to drive after 1 week especially putting into 5th gear!
As heidi says its unbelievable how much you use your chest muscles lol. Good luck 🙂 x

It all depends on the individual
I had unders recently and had two weeks off but honestly couldve gone back to work after a week!!
Obviously take it easy but if you feel fine then it shouldnt be a worry 🙂

i had my op last monday and i was back at work wednesday night… i didn’t find the op to painful, i do have a high pain threshold though. i had 325cc unders. i plan to be driving again after my post op appointment..i think it does all depend on the person though x
