I’m using a v pillow along with other pillows and cushions to keep myself propped up but I seem to be putting pressure on my mid and lower back, bum and thighs. Any tips ? Is it just part and parcel of having to sleep upright? Xx

Unfortunately yes! It’s not going to be mega comfortable but it’s short lived and you don’t need to sleep upright for too long x

I had to put an extra pillow in-between the v at the bottom if that makes sense the part that ur back falls into and isn’t padded and also a pillow under my bum aswell. I found it easier sleeping on the sofa as well as there was no space to wiggle downwards or sideways xx

btw jo after 2 weeks I started lowering the angle now I still sleep on my back just with a lot of pillows not actually sitting up anymore im pretty sure that’s what the nurse said I could do but cant actually remember? xx
