Hi girls, so the day has arrived, I’m going in for my uplift and implants. Feeling nervous & just want to get it over with tbh. I’ve eaten a small breakfast (which didn’t go down well, lol) & drunk a couple of pints of water, now to get the kids ready for school/nursery, then I’m heading into London, need to be there for 12, I’ll then hopefully find out what time I’m going down. I’ll try give you an update later, I’m rubbish at these posts but there’s not many women on here that have had uplifts, so will do my best to let you all know my experience.

So I arrived at 11.15 and was quickly shown to my room, I wasn’t meant to be here till 12. Nurse is lovely, I’ve got all my bits on ready for theater, she isn’t sure on a time yet though but I’m happy to lay here and chill as I don’t often get the chance with my 2 children lol. They have asked me what I’d like for lunch and dinner so hoping I won’t be down too late. The food menu is amazing and I’m pretty hungry now. I’ll try update later.

Went down at 6.30, totally fine, had a lovely sleep, lol. Woke up at 8.45, slight pain but I’m still buzzing lol. Nothing to worry about girls, I expect the pain to kick in in the night…….. I was starving before going down, but now so over it lol. Water is my new best friend though. Hoping to sleep tonight but not holding out much hope as I’m upright. Still, got my new boobs so won’t moan x

Morning, I don’t really remember sending this last night lol. No didn’t sleep and yes to annoying things on legs, they have just come off along with drip and drains, so I’m free lol. Pain wise fine but guess I’m still full of drugs & waiting for it to kick in. I really missed my water yesterday, I drink so much of it normally. Only thing is Im still really light headed, I woke up twice for a wee and both times felt really faint, dizzy and sick. I’m now scared to get up, lol. Going to sit up now for a while in chair as just had the best toast ever, lol. Then I’ll try walking. X

Hi girls, all went well had uplift and 300cc in one boob and 400cc as they were asymmetric. Didn’t sleep very well, but im used to not much sleep as have 2 small children, lol. Pain is fine but that’s probably because of the cocktail of drugs I had last night. Can honestly say there’s nothing to worry about, so don’t stress. I’ve just had a wash and managed to get dress fine, am going to chill now though as don’t want to push it. Just waiting in my bed for my sister to come to collect me. Also having the drains out was totally fine, just breath deep and your be good if was worried about this after hearing how bad it was. Last thing I brought my high impact m&s bra with me and I can’t do the zip up fully, lol, so maybe bring 2 different sizes with you. I’ve had to put mine over the strapping, it’s a 34e, I have an for at home I’ll change into once there.

Got discharged at 10am but I didn’t get picked up till 12, however I was allowed to stay in my room and wait for my sister to arrive so had a nice chilled morning. Felt great leaving hospital and ride home was fine. I haven’t had pain relief since 3am this morning but going to take something before bed as think the pain will kick in in the night. I can feel my boobs swelling so am just sitting here with ice packs on them. So far it’s been a breeze, I’m scared for in the night/tomorrow, lol. I’ve changed my bra to my asda one as not so tight, but will put the m&s one back on before sleeping.

Hi all just a quick update, woke up feeling bit sore, slept not too bad. Took one painkiller and managed to get dressed and walk my little girl to school :0) not much pain at all and not planning on taking anymore painkillers till tonight before bed. This is mainly to help me sleep better. My mum has my little boy today so I’m just chilling on the sofa catching up with some TV, mainly because I never get a chance to do this so going to take advantage of it lol. Only problem I have is my right side of my tonuge is numb from the anaesthetic, it’s not hurting just annoying, will go doctors next week if nothing changes by then. My boobs are huge today, assuming it’s the swelling coming out, I’ll pop some ice packs on them later to help it go down.

Morning, yes doing really well, managed to get up yesterday and take walk my little girl to school and pick her up again, pain wise is very little and only taking tablets just before bed so I sleep better, lol. . Tonuge is still numb to to right side, nurse called yesterday to check how I was and she said it’s probably where the tube was laying on a nerve for so long it just needs to wake up, but could take a while. It’s not awful just annoying a bit. Boobs looking ok what I can see from them, would love a shower today, will have a little bath later. I’ve just taken my bra off to give them a rest as was getting very tight. Did you wear one over your strapping at first? I do feel better with it on but when laying down its nice to give them a bit of breathing space lol. They quite big today but no bruising yet. Looking forward to having strapping off Wednesday as it’s starting to feel a bit itchy now. I saw your post, have you spoken to the nurse?

Today’s been a good day, no change in pain, still hardly nothing. Managed to potter around the house, did have to have an afternoon nap though lol. Still no pain relief needed. Going to get my husband to wash my hair tomorrow as feeling like tramp lol. Only thing I’m struggling with is not being able to shower and the strapping is getting quite annoying.

Hi, so it’s been a week since I had my op and have to say I haven’t once felt in pain. Of course I’ve had a few twinges and aches but can’t call it pain, I’m just hoping nothing sets me back after I have my strapping of tonight. That’s probably been the worse part as I feel like I’d like to give my boobs a good strach lol. I’ve been lucky not to of had any cuts or blisters from it though as far as I can see. I’m a bit nervous about seeing them tonight and how my scars are healing. I’m desperate for a shower, but have manage to bath and wash my hair over the bath by myself, I did this Sunday and am going to go for another one now. It will be nice just to have a good wash once this strapping is of and not have to worry about getting it wet.

Hi Zoe, oh was you? my app was for 6.15, made it just in time as hit traffic everywhere. So glad for you, that’s flown by, hoping it will for me lol. I’ve got to go back on Saturday as I’ve got a small hole, I think this happened on Sunday, my little boy hurt himself, without thinking picked him up, I felt sometime rip, must if been that. So nurse took a swab, and will know tomorrow if it’s infected. I’m not loving my boobs tbh think they still look raw and odd sizes, but I know I have to give it time. I tried a bikini top on today though just to see and I like them in that. It looks like I didn’t have an anchor cut either, but lollipop, no one told me this but I haven’t got a scar under the boob? I’ve still had no pain though and nurse was pretty impressed I could pull a jumper over my head with no help lol. She has told me to rest though as I’m pretty much back to normal now (another than heavy lifting) so I’m going to as need this hole to heal well and not get infected. I’ll upload a photo soon.

Oh okay they still not evened out, would they do a re op if they don’t? One of mine is a weird shape, just hoping they sort themselves out. Really hope it’s not infected either as don’t want anymore antibiotics, just finished my course. Did you have an anchor or lollipop lift? Just not sure why he would change his plans whilst under. I didn’t see him after surgery like most say they have.
