todays the day!…with a terrible start!!!!!!

so I leave my house at 6.30am ready for 9.30 admission time! all goes well and there was no traffic, arrived at 9am, get to the front desk to be told that im not on the list!!!! and to wait in reception, so im waiting waiting waiting and they call reservation list to be told my admission time is at 2pm!! what?? I was defo told 9.30am, my lovely PC called me who advised mya ‘called’ me yesterday to tell me it had been moved to 2pm as a girl had to go before me due to medical reasons.(I didn’t get a call or email) on the plus side I still get to sit in my room until 2pm. on the down side I put off eating at 6am when I should of!! and plus now I have to wait an extra 4 hours to eat. im starving!! anyway im sitting in my hosp room, its really nice but my husband has passed out sleeping as he didn’t sleep last night. i’m looking forward to the day but just sad it had to start this way 🙁 🙁 x

well nothing new. My admission time was 2.00 pm, surgery time told to me was 3.30 pm. i actually had my surgery at 6.30 pm agrrrrrrrh. 🙁

Good luck hun. My admission was 9.30 am surgery ended up been 2.30pm got moved down list think they get the more difficult patients out the way first. But like you I was starving and thirsty. Id had no food Since night before n nothing to drink since 6 that morning. .annoyin xx
