Hi girls, this might be a dumb questions but thought I’d ask anyways. I know we can’t wear finger nail polish for our ops as they need to see the colour of your nails for oxygen levels I think? But what about toe nails? I’ve got a voucher about to expire for gels so I thought it wouldn’t go to waste if I can have them on my toes instead! Haha. Let me know x

Ended up just getting my finger nails done rather than toes and going to get them off just before to be on the safe side! But thanks everyone 🙂 xx

hey hun, I had my acrylics redone just before my op 18th march, found out the day before late eve I couldn’t have them on, I knew about polish on toes and fingers but didn’t know about taking the nails off! anyways….I spent 3 hours filing my two forefinger acrylics off so they could put the pulse clip on my fingers….took my polish off all my fingers and toes….only to wake up with the bloody clip on my thumb!!! I did say to the nurse I took my nails off for that clip….!!! lol….she put it on my finger and that’s all can remember from that time pah ha ha ….I also wore mascara …..so your toes are fine…theydo not do a body check….don’t panic hun xx
