Heyyy, 9 days PO and just noticing that every time I swallow I have an achey feeling under 1 or 2 of my bottom molars on one side..does anyone know if this means anything? Don’t know whether it could be related to the oxygen tube but not quite sure how?! Thanks xx

Hi Ella 🙂 I’ve personally never heard of this happening after rhino before..Maybe just give the on call nurse / surgeon a ring, just to be safe 🙂 My anaesthetist said the anaesthetic can sometimes cause side effects with teeth. Don’t worry though, I’m sure you’re fine & it’s just a coincidence xx

Thanks for your reply 🙂 yeah I think it’s probably unrelated and I’ve felt well the whole way along so doubt it would be infection, I’ll mention it when I get my cast off 🙂 xx

Hi Ella I’m a dental nurse it could be your grinding or something as you may be worried or stressed – most people don’t know here doing it as it’s in the brain!!! Or maybe you have an infection and need some antibiotics? Not sure if it’s to do with the surgery or not though
