    Hey girls

Could you tell me how you got to and from the hospital, will I be too uncomfortable for a long train home? Can I get a train to the hospital on my own? Then someone come meet me? Am I better off having a lift there and home?

    So confused please help!! Xxx

Hi Sophie 🙂 they say you should have someone come with you there and back. Also you should only be a max of 1 hour away from the hospital where ypu have your ba done, my husband is taking me and bringing me home I’m having my op in Doncaster. What about you ? Xx

the only concern i have is if people barge into you! Or if you feel lightheaded an sick, or fall asleep on the train, ide deffo recommend a car, even if its a cab, i know its expensive but its better to be safe than sorry, look on this website chic they give you the cheapest taxi quotes possible, you can book a return cab too xxx

I wouldn’t recommend train at all. I would deffo say get someone to pick you up. I went on my own as well and then my partner picked me up afterwards. I went so sick n tired I wouldn’t have coped on a train xx

They asked me a million times to make sure I wasn’t getting on public transport… And I had an over night stay so. I would deffo recommend getting a lift back. Or book a hotel for the night after ur op, you’ll be all dosey anyways. I couldn’t of even coped with a train the day after lol xxx

So I can go up on my own and ask someone to drive up and pick me up after? Is that allowed? I was told I should say in London for a night (least 1 hour away from hospital etc) but by the sound of it I’m going to be in a lot of discomfort and tbh I’d rather just be in my own bed! xxx

Hi Sophie I don’t think they let you leave on your own so would definitely need someone to pick you up, they say you have to stay over if you live more than an hour away but I’ve seen on here a lot of girls just go home I live 2 hours from the hospital and I just went home as I wanted to be in my own bed and if anything thought I’d be in more pain the next day travelling home xx

Hey doll, yesterday was my op and I went there with a friend by train, some people go on there own and then there friends meet them for the journey home. I went home by cab. I’ve had anaesthetic before never felt sick yesterday I was fine till I got up I felt really sick and threw up then felt better. I would say you can go by train but on your way home deffo cab or car after because I was in a different planet till this morning x

Yeah you should be ok just to go home when I first got up after my op I felt really sick but once I sat back down I was fine and wasn’t actually sick then the next time I got up I was fine but definitely glad I had my mum to drive me home and get straight into my own bed xx

Yeah that’s 100% fine. Make your own way there and get a lift back. The nurses will even take you down to the car so the person can just park outside and don’t need to pay parking or even come up lol xx
