million questions running through my head! i’ve been told by a different company that i’ll never get the ideal breast shape, is this true? those who had tuberous breasts, were you limited to small implants? did they look ‘normal’ after or still have the tube shape?

im so confused, sad and boobless xx

    Menu

also did you need an uplift? or was it just a straight forward augmentation?

I’ve got slightly tubular breasts and my surgeon told me I will have to have over the muscle implants to get a round look. I’ve not been limited to small implants, I can go as big as 425cc if I want to. Not had my op yet, but will post my results once done

thats sounds a really good outcome! do you mind if i add you? when is your op?x

    Hi Georgie!
You commented on my post where I was upset about having been told I had tuberous breasts & would need a mastopexy as well as a BA…
Were you offered the mastopexy? I think it really depends how tuberous you are, the surgeon and what look you want to go for.
At my second consultation with a different doctor I was told that I could have just a BA! Which is a result.
Like Amber I was told I would need overs both times, as this would give me a better shape.
Dr Marcellino has ordered every size from 300cc to 400cc and will be picking on the day what looks best (I specified wanting very natural looking breasts)
My op is booked for August 1st and I’ll let you know how it goes! Quite a while away though, so I imagine you’ll be all sorted by then 🙂

I’ve never even heard of a mastopexy! I’ll have a google in a moment! lol I know there is grades of tuberous-ness but I don’t really don’t know how bad mine are on the scale!
Exciting that yours is only a month away 🙂 good luck!
Ps which surgeon are you going with? Xx

I’ve just had a look, the doctor in Poland said I’d need an uplift but i really don’t think they are that bad. I guess we’ll have to wait and see once I manage to book an appointment x

Georgie – if it would help you, I could put a before picture up on my profile & you could add me to see. That way you could compare. I’m a little shy about posting it straight on the forum, but I know it’s so disheartening getting bad news – love to help you out 🙂
I’m going with Dr Marcellino – he was sooo lovely. The first surgeon I saw was Dr Fiumara and she seems like an excellent surgeon.. but, I think she aims for perfect & I’m not that fussed!

    Menu

I don’t want perfection, just big even boobies lol. Ive accepted you! Have you posted a pic? Do you meet the surgeons once you put down a deposit?x

I’ll pop the photo up tomorrow & let you know when I have 🙂
I actually said I don’t mind having assymetrical breasts – because, I think most women do..but I said if a larger implant in one will make it look more even then I would like that. He said he’ll see how it looks on the day 🙂
Nope, they take… I think it is a 10p charge which they give back to you (or at least that’s what they did for me) before you meet the surgeon. That just confirms that the card details you give are correct.
I paid my deposit when I chose my date (which was Tuesday).

mine are really asymmetrical so some kind of symmetry would be really appreciated as so many clothes i can’t wear as its so obvious!
oh really! i think i rushed into it last time, i paid the deposit but 2 weeks later my car broke. Maybe it was a sign that i need to see surgeons first! x

So, did you pay a deposit and then get bad news from the surgeon? That must have been awful!
Have you met anyone from MYA yet? x

    Menu

last year i paid a deposit but cancelled as i needed to buy a car. recently restarted my booby hunt and sent some pics to a surgeon in poland who basically said its impossible to have the perfect look so we’ll just have to wait and see when i finally book an appointment with mya. i only met a pc last time no actual surgeons x

That is terrible luck! Perhaps it was for the best though, you never know!
Book your surgeon appointment as soon as you can – then you’ll know whats going on either way.:)
I’ve put my before photos up now….so be kind! I’m awfully embarrassed by them but… Well, I’ve been told I’ll get a good result without an uplift.
Hopefully this will help you feel better! x

Also, if the angles seem a bit weird, it’s because I have a whole load of tattoos and a birthmark on my torso that I was trying to leave out :p x

    Menu

@chris I wouldn’t even realise yours were tubular, it’s just the gap in the middle that’s familiar. I’d be quite happy with yours, they look even too! X

Aw, you’re kind! I’m sure yours are better than you let on, I think we’re all overly critical of ourselves (and surgeons are too, I guess because that’s their job!)
I find that when I wear an A the left is busting out and the right either fits it almost perfectly or is a little gappy. That being said, I’d definitely be OK if the level of symmetry didn’t change.
Ahh… the gap in the middle! I’ve got broad ribs so I doubt that’ll get much better…but I have seen some girls get overs and have much more cleavage, maybe there’s hope!
Roll on August & I’ll put up my afters too! (assuming my medical check tomorrow goes OK!)

I’m not worried if mine stay miles apart I’ll pull them together with a good bra lol I have the same issue on bras, one fits and one is coney so doesn’t fit right lol xx

Good luck for your medical tomorrow!! X
