I’m having 450cc Hp unders in a few weeks & want to hear of any of your girls experiences with unders in regards to recovery & pain. I have a 2 year old and a 9 month old. My husbands got just under 2 weeks off to help me xx

I had my surgery done Tuesday.. Yesterday and today have been far my worst for the pain but mainly in one side but I’ve literally not been able to do anything with my left arm! & it’s been a total nightmare cause we have my niece most days 🙁 hoping the pain will ease off very soon! Even had to have my boyfriend putting my hair up this morning lmao x

My friend had hers done on the 4th and was absolutely fine – she said she just felt pressure. She needed help getting up off of the sofa for two days but was fine straight after – she has a high pain threshold though and even drove me the 100 miles for my op 12 days later! (I’ve had overs and am fine also but unders do hurt more). It all depends on what your pain threshold is x

Thanks girls. I’ve defo got a good pain threshold I’ve had both my babies with no pain relief and both of them were posterior births & 16 hours plus labours lol so I’m sure I’ll handle it I just worry about lifting them. Fair to say I am a little nervous now, I wasn’t before. What is the pain you are describing girls? I just want to be mentally prepared lol xx

Well for me it was a ripping out my chest kinda pain to begin with when I tried to sit up from lying down and now it’s like aches and weird tingles and stuff. I had pain relief with my baby n was traumatised by birth ? so you might be fine xx

Mine felt abit like a stinging sensation every time I moved! So I just literally kept it still as much as I can and tried to use my right arm for everything or have someone help my right side has been fine really weird but read a lot of people had one side worse than the other, I’ve got quite a high pain threshold as soon as I got woke up I was asking to side up and wanted to eat yesterday was literally first bit of pain I had but in all honesty I just think it’s bruising where the incision is and the bra is pressing on it when I move this morning was pretty bad but eased off a lot has the day has gone on xx

Hiya i had mine done on Tuesday and today is the first day I’ve felt slightly ok. I had unders and knew I would have pain but didn’t realise it would be restricting aswell. it’s just the fact that every movement affects your chest so it’s so painful to even just sit. I have a 8 month old which for the first time today I’ve held him as I couldn’t really move my arms or sit up properly because of the back and neck pain.. I’m hoping that I’ve suffered the worst now and each day I’ll feel a million times better. I only told my hubby to take 2 days off but he has had to take more off now as I couldn’t physically do anything. I’m sure you will be fine just give your self at least a week of doing nothing and see how you get on cuz like I say it’s not just the pain, it’s not being able to move which is the hardest part. Good luck and just think of the outcome its Defo worth it xxx
