Had breast augmentation with mya about 2 years ago but feel like for the money spent i should be alot more satisfied with my results. I went from a 34a to 34dd which sounds good, but they actually look quite out of proportion as i have a wide back and the impants look stuck on my front with no boob to the edge of my body ( a bit hard to explain without seeing). I think this could be due to having extra high profile implants which i did question in my consultation but surgeon reassured me is the best option. Secondly , my nipples are basicly pointing at the floor so i therefore have no boob under my nipples and from the side veiw the underneath is completely straight, no curve like boobs should have ! I was hoping that after time they would drop to give a natural crease underneath but they dont look like theyre going anywhere ! 🙁 just wondering if anyone else who has been unhappy with their results had had anything done to put them right or if my only option is to have another boob job else where! Xx

i completely know how you feel. I had a surgery in 2012 and I’m really unhappy with the results, I feel like I look deformed and I have a awful scar. I had an uplift without implants, 6 weeks post op my boobs sagged again, the weight of my breast was too heavy for the incisions and the weight made the incision split open. I went back to the company who said to just leave it to heal on it own because it was too shallow to do anything. So I have a scar 7cm wide. They said they wouldn’t do anything until I had let everything settle. I went back when I was 12 months post op, and the surgeon is telling me the result is fine and is the only thing I could of expected. He offered scar revision on one scar and ignored all the other problems and said my boobs look fine, and they refuse to give me another surgeon. Its completely disgusting how they’ve treated me. I’ve been to get opinions from surgeons at different companies, I’m going to have pay for another operation now, probably a more expensive one because they’re fixing the existing mess. I have to get a reduction and maybe a mesh implant which would be like an internal bra, to support my boobs and not have incision splitting open again.

someone has suggested threatening to sell my story to magazines to scare the company into fixing it. To be honest, even if they agreed I wouldn’t want that company touching me again after what they’ve done. I going to go to citizens advice or try and see a free legal advisor to see if I have any claim for getting my money back from them. I’ve been warned though that even if the results aren’t good, technically there was no medical negligence so the most likely case if having to pay again with a different company.

you should go back to your surgeon and see what he says, he mite be wiling to fix it, but if not then I’d start saving x

I know how you feel also! I am one month and a week post op today (had my BA 24th Feb 2014) and im already unhappy with my results. Everyone keeps telling me im crazy and its way too early but the areas im not happy with aint gonna change! i see my ps in june (feels so far away) and if hes not willing to change anything i am going to have a consultation with MYA. I asked for round implants and i got conical shaped, i asked for big (500cc+) and got 435ccs. I feel like my surgeon did what he thinks was best for me but didnt fully listen/consider what i really wanted for a result. They look very natural but nowhere near big enough and have a slight pointy shape to them due to the conical (cone shaped!) implant. I am hoping because i initially asked for round, that he will understand why i am wanting new implants. I am pretty sure he will say it will cost me the same amount again, if so i will go with mya as theyre slightly cheaper and seem so great in just everything, i originally planned to go with them also. Also my nipples are like yours, not situated in the right place but mine are pointing out sideways! if i feel the side of my boob (whats meant to be) its my nipple!

I am sorry your feeling down about your results, youre not alone at all. I hope that with time they improve for you but if not definitly look into having what you want, you should be happy! I am already saving as much as i can just incase i do have to pay again, which i think is very likely, and like yourself i feel for what i paid (£k!) i should be over the moon. seeing all these other girls with their beautiful boobs also makes me think i should be feeling the same way (especially as i prob paid more, breast augmentation is around £, hospital group i think its £!) so i feel if i had to pay again, i will as i feel being happy at my age is more important. I think if i put off having a 2nd one because of the money, i would get to 5+ years time and think ive spent the last 5 years still being unhappy and would probably wish i sorted it asap. The sooner I pay again and have what I REALLY want out of this, the sooner ill be fully happy with myself and the longer il be able to enjoy them through my 20s and 30s. Its unfortunate some of us have to pay twice or sometimes three times, but the whole reason we have the procedure in the first place is to be happy with ourselves, so i guess thats the priority and may as well fight til the end until were fully happy and confident! thats how im looking at it anyway. hope i helped and keep your chin up hun! hopefully you end up with what you want x
