    The last two days I’ve noticed that my boobs closer together, and while lots of people would say I was lucky, I’m getting all paranoid that I might be getting a uniboob. Pre op I only had maybe 2 cm gap but now it’s maybe 3 mm. and I’m only 3 weeks today so they’ll change more…tho maybe that’s worse and they’ll get to the stahe they really are touching., Agghhh

    I read uniboob was very unusual and not a worry if you had a good surgeon, so I’m probably stressing over nothing, as we tend to do !! Should I maybe put something between them at night, or let them out more does anyone know?

    I’ll speak to MYA next week to stop myself being daft I think

    keep them well supported and when u put ur sports bra on kinda move them apart so theyre not touching as much in the bra thats what ive been doing, my cleavage looks abit dodgy sometimes but i think its coz i had 900ccs xx

    You could get a racerback bra and wear it back to front to put some pressure on your cleavage which could help. Also put a pair of roller up socks between them at night. How far PO are you? I had some issues with tenting but it seemed to be risdual swelling which went away on it’s on, you’re healing internally for up to a year PO so it’s not unsual to get swelling from time to time, I would send some pics to your PS just in case. x

    Cheers Aysha .
    I’m 3 weeks today Kaydee. I’ll try to part them and speak to MYA on Monday. Just freaked more as I found a posting on another site where the woman described what sounds like me – started with a PO cleavage line of a cm or two and ended up a few weeks after op with a thin line. A few monthsafter her post she had corrective surgery for uniboob 🙁
    I’m still trying to convince myself a good surgeon makes uniboob almost impossible, particularly with overs. Fingers and everything else crossed xx

    Around 8weeks I’d say, I still don’t have a very rounded cleavage in the medial portion/upper pole but think that’s more my body, I have around a 1 and a half finger gap braless, in a push up I just kind of get a *line* if that makes sense, it’s not true tenting or symastia so I can live with it if it stays how it is. I think with 900cc you’re always going to get slight skin lifting unless you got an internal bra or strattice, just due to the width of them. Ah at 3 weeks it will likely be swelling hun, these things can happen as a result of anatomy and isn’t always a Dr error, if you did need a fix symmastia is covered by MYA so you should be fine. Good luck x

    Thanks Kaydee, you’re hopefully right and it’s just swelling and I’ll end up with a cleavage the envy ofall the 20-somethings 😉 I’m sure the surgeon is really good, so the chances of me getting sym(whatnot) are extremely slim and I’m just being a paranoid worrier. Really do not want to go through another boob op xx

    There are so many changes PO it’s hard to know when something is normal or a problem! It’s a waiting game and everything is a worry! Having boobs is like a part time job lol ;_;

    haha you’re so right. I really didn’t expect it to be such an all-consuming obsession. Boobs R Us. I was just saying to someone in message, in the summer we should organise a booby-pals booze up by which time we’ll all be able to flash our assets in real bras and be more free from all these worries lol xx

    I’m sure you’ll be fine now Laura. From what people on this forum say, Dr Singh is amazing. Are you having to wear anything special like a thong bra the americans seem to wear?
    When did you start to notice there was a problem. Were they actually touching and did you have any other symptoms? Was your original symmastia from a MYA surgery or from somewhere else? Sorry lots of Q’s
    I don’t have tenting but they’re just mm apart and maybe it’s my imagination but the tiny gap seems to be closing daily now I’ve noticed it and logically if it’s swelling, it wouldn’t be increasing 3 weeks PO. I’ve been stressing all weekend, probably over nothing. I’m 5ft 8, 37 inch band and a size 12, and I had 345 and 385 implants, so nothing too large for my frame. I had a good surgeon and I had overs, so the muscle wasn’t touched, In theory, as far as I’ve researched, I should not have symmastia. But you know when you get worried about something and now I’m beating myself up thinking this is my comeuppance for being vain and silly not leaving my boobs well alone.

    May I add you? I’ll get a pic done of the gap, though you can see on the pics I have that they’re close. But oh man, are they too close. xx

    RE the implants being too large for your frame, it’s actaully the profile/width of the implant that makes the difference and not the CC, if you had low/mod profile implants it’s possible they can still be to big for you in terms of how wide they are, the higher the profile the narrower the implant which is why those of us with large CC often have high/ex high profile implants x

    Ahh ok, mine just say Inspira TSF and N-TSF345/385, so I assume not high profile. Spoken to on call nurse and I need to see my nurse tomorrow if they can fit me in, but nothing I can rush out and buy to try to help.. Ice n ibuprofen in the hope it’s swelling and it’s simply the swelling moving, x

    Hun try not to worry too much I know it’s hard. I think this period of waiting to heal and settle is the hardest. Hopefully you’ll get to see someone soon to reassure you. TSF is soft touch full profile. Xx

    Thanks Laura, glad you’re getting sorted 🙂 I think we all go into this knowing there are risks but kind of thinking they’ll not happen to us. I’ll see what the nurse say and hope that I’m being over-cautious. xx
