I’m nearly two weeks PO and my left breast is starting to bruise. It’s always had a little more swelling than the other but now the bruising is getting worse. The bruising on my right breast is starting to go. I’ve tried to contact my nurse but can’t get through! I’m starting to panic now! 🙁 x

This has happened to me too.. I haven’t rang as I’m seeing my nurse tomorrow anyway (I’m 2 weeks PO). I’m hoping it’s nothing to worry about but if you don’t get through to the nurse I can let you know what she says about mine Hun! Xx (pretty crap photo but I had to crop it a lot!

I’m not sure what this is but I had hematoma but mine went rock solid and swelled loads!! If it isn’t doing either of them it may be just delayed bruising and try not to worry xx

I had delayed bruising on one! It came about 5days post op. Underneath. But it’s almost gone now and I’m 6 weeks post op.

But like Danielle says if it feels hard or starts to hurt a lot more than it has if go and see the nurse.

When I was worried and couldn’t reach nurse I took a pic and sent to my PC by email and she showed it to nurse and got back to me with what nurse said within an hour! X

It was hematoma, my entire left breast has gone blue/black but nurse and surgeon said not to worry as swelling wasn’t enough to need drains. Looks awful but fingers crossed it heals quickly, yes Lisa mine have only just started to look reasonable equal and I’m 2 weeks PO x
