The nurse advised me to get a V shaped pillow to help me sleep post op, do people think they are a must have?

Looking on the internet for V shaped pillows there are loads! Just wondering where anyone got theirs from and if anyone could recommend a good place to get one?

Mine was from linen warehouse for 7 pound I love it. Also got two support pillows from asda (two in a pack) fora fiver in the sale. Was meant to be £10. They’re harder than normal pillows so keep you up right. Sleeping up is hard I’m struggling to get comfy x x

Other than my Macom, my v pillows were my best investment. I got two as I’m a fussy sleeper – from M&S (although to be honest, I don’t think they differ much wherever you get then from) and I don’t know how I would’ve coped without them.
As for sleeping positions, I wasn’t advised after my op that I should or shouldn’t sleep any particular way – so I’ve just been doing what feels comfortable. I’m 14days post op today and depending on how I’m feeling each night, my positions have varied. Have had a couple of comfortable nights on my side. Have laid flat without a problem and have slept upright with the v pillows as well. x
