Does anyone know if your allowed to vape up until your surgery?

I smoked up until 4 weeks before my surgery and then I vaped! I wasn’t even asked on the day if I still smoked so I’m sure vaping will be fine!! Xx

@sammiej-x I have my op 2 weeks tomorrow and was told I will be tested on day of my op and if there is any nicotine in my results my op is cancelled and im sent home :/ I was told to quit two weeks before so today is my last day vaping :(. xx

I vaped all the way threw and wasn’t even warned when I said I had an ecig xx

I wouldn’t risk it I got tested and sent home had to wait 2weeks was told I could cape but had to use 0% nicotine tho xx

Yeah I healed fine, I started smoking on and off again (starting on the day I had surgery ?)! I’m a good healer though so if you’re doing well quitting try and stick at it chick! I’ve never heard of a nicotine test, you get nicotine just from patches so how could they tell the difference?! Can’t believe they’re using scare tactics like that!! Xx

Ohhh God!! Think I’ll try and stop 2 weeks before then! Did they test you at the Preston clinic? That’s where I will be going? Glad your healing well! Guess you were just lucky they didn’t check ?Xx

Nicotine also slows healing as well as the carbon monoxide in cigarettes so ive bought 0% nicotine eliquid and have till weds to quit. Absolutely dreading it but know that only good things can come from giving up! Good luck all you girls giving up too xxxx
