Hello! This is my first ever post. I had my vaser lipo on my flanks and thighs 3 days ago and am starting to feel very low after the high of seeing my first view post op yesterday. I have swollen almost double what I was yesterday and am just generally feeling blah! Anyone else feel like this?

My main question is to other vaser girls- with the padding under the garment for flanks how did you get about wearing clothes? I feel everyone is staring at me 🙁 am so hot and itchy too!!

Some advice would be amazing thank you so much. Xxxxxxxx Annie xxxxxxx

It is horrible. I am 2 months post op now, had vaser to upper and lower abs, flanks and lower back. Wearing the padding and garment is the worst thing ever. When I went back to work I really struggled with clothes. I just wore loose dresses and big cardigans and put up with looking like a whale. At home I just wore the garment and a t-shirt and i really didn’t go out much until the padding came off. The swelling will come and go for months really. I don’t wear any of it anymore but one of my hips has a lump in it now. The nurse said it is still swelling but I think the surgeon ha made a mistake but I guess only time will tell. Keep going and try not to compare your results too much because it really will keep changing a lot. xxx

Thanks Hun. Did you experience leg cramps or cramps where you had your vaser? I can’t sleep at al because my legs are cramping so bad!!! And Jordan, when you have your 2 day post op ask your nurse to cut the padding down a bit. Definately helped. Iv got a real love/hate relationship with my garment! Hate it because I can’t wear anything nice but when I shower I can’t wait to get it back on as I feel like il damage myself! Iv been told by many that lipo healing is the hardest xxxxxx

This feeling sounds familiar but you get through it i promise, I had Vaser to my hips last year, and I hated the Fat suite ( padded vest) but it makes a real difference to your result, I then went to just the garment then to spanks from primark then nothing & I’m so happy.
You will have days though when you start to not where it where you swell but thats normal and expected so is lumps and bumps but in time they will go and when you can rub cream in the area can help.
I saw you wrote about cramps too, this could be circulation make sure your walking round plenty and drinking enough water but if your worried just ring the nurse they are always so good with tips as they have heard it all before.
Feel free to add me though!

Amy thank you so much for your lovely post so helpful! I’m not sure what number I use to ring my nurse that’s all. I don’t feel my cramps count as an emergency lol! I will definately add you. I have started to almost love my padding. Apart from wearing clothes over it haha! Thanks so much xxxxxxxxx

if you call 08000141014 you get the call centre and they can direct your call to clinic nurse.

I bet it feels tight too just wait till a few months time when you try it all on again (for a laugh) and its not even tight! I have just put a few new pics on so you can have a look.
