A few weeks ago, I had my initial consultation and felt really comfortable with my PC. We went over everything I was concerned about etc and left feeling confident. BUT… Over the past few days I have been reading extremely negative reviews on MYA and its making me wonder if im making the right decision?! Obviously not everyone goes to the same clinic, but I’m worried about the after care. Im looking into having a BA and have wanted one for years. Help?!

@Kirstiec1994 as a big company they are bound to have good and bad reviews and as one of the only companies to have a forum such as this, you are more likely to hear about the bad experiences which all companies have, there is just no way of getting this information on other companies. However I couldn’t fault them and would recommend them 100%, pre care, operation and after care have been excellent.

Don’t let it put you off, I had consultation at the hospital group and I didn’t go with them because I couldn’t find any reviews on them which is more worrying. I think it shows a lot for a company to have somewhere where all the girls can post about the experience.

It goes with anything your more likely to share a bad story then a good story, I’m really pleased with my results so far I’m 3 weeks p.o and my PC has been amazing!! She texts me every week to see how I am and she text me the day after surgery to see how I was feeling. The nurse is amazing aswell I’m such a worrier and I email her like twice a week and she emails straight back and says to book in to see her if I ever am worried!!

I’m so worried! I’ve got my op on Wednesday and I’ve been on this forum for weeks and not seen a bad word but in the past 3-4 days I’ve seen a few bad reviews and some are awful, like one of the nurses wasn’t qualified and stuff. I’m worried enough without hearing all of this 3 days before my op 🙁 so worried now!! But I have seen more good than bad reviews to be honest, just hope they’re one offs and they aren’t that bad. I do feel sorry for the girls who have paid all that money and had an awful experience. I feel like contacting my pc tomorrow for reassurance xxx

Girls there are way more positive stories than negative. I think the reason you see the negativity on here is because this ‘open and honest forum’ is actually very closely monitored by moderators, and often the PCs ignore texts/calls and so the girls feel that the last resort is to post on here so that they get some kind of contact from MYA. They don’t seem to realise that there are girls on here who are pre op and are having the shit scared out of them!!
Please try not to worry xxx

There is always bad and good EVERYWHERE, in all companies. Please don’t let it worry you hun! I love my boobs done by MYA! Most girls get upset about the aftercare and their PC (I wasn’t a fan of my pc). MYA surgeons are brilliant and I’ve seen literally 100s of amazing BAs! Xxx

Thank you to everyone for the replies, I feel a lot less worried now. I had a phone call by my PC after seeing my post and said to me not to worry at all as she will be there throughout the entire process etc. Hopefully my nerves will settle down soon!
