Waiting for a date for 3rd re-op….

Hi everyone last march I had a tummy tuck, lipo and ba. Which has been a nightmare!!!! Last sept I had a re-op on my belly button because it was hideous and more lipo because there was no difference from before. Now 12 months down the line the 2nd lot of lipo has made a small difference which I’m not happy with, my belly button looks awful with thick scarring around which is very noticeable and also on my last appointment in feb I was told by my surgeon I have dogs ears which need another op and I have capsular contraction in both breasts which my left has always felt different and uncomfortable. I recently have a lot of discomfort in my left breast which the last 4 weeks haven’t been able to sleep on my back or sides so I’ve been trying to sleep in an upright position which as you can imagine is terrible also I have to drive with no seatbelt on because of the pain when wearing it. I have 5 children which 1 is disabled so you can imagine how exhausted I feel with no sleep. Also since having my 1st op I was diagnosed with anaemia which I’m still taking iron tablets for. I have Text and spoke a few times to mya and my pc about my re-op when my date is going to be but keep getting fobbed off with the nurse who authorises the ops is off on annual leave or her father is ill. Now my pc won’t answer my messages or calls. I’ve never regretted anything as much as these ops in all my life!!! I really have had enough I’ve never felt so down…… Xx

Awww hun I feel so terrible for you, that’s so awful. Have you tried calling MYA on the 0800 number on the site instead of your PCr local clinic? Xx

Im sorry you have had such a bad time! I have 2 kids and my son is disabled, i literally never sleep and at 1 point post op i cried bcos it was so hard trying to recover and look after someone who needs alot of care! I hope you get the final results you are after, as you work so hard to treat yourself to something you deserve, so i hope its all corrected eventually! I am seeing my surgeon in 3 weeks and im really worried he is gunna say i need a re op!!xx

Good idea. I’ve been advised to see a solicitor I can’t carry on like this op after op it’s ridiculas I’ve really had enough xx

Have you gone down the official complaints procedure as in their terms and conditions . You have to have a reply within so many days ?

I’ve finally had a text message off my pc. She’s looking into it and I can’t understand why it’s been delayed for so long she’s going to let me know something today x
