I’ve heard the best way is for you to tip your head over the bath and get someone to wash it for you xxx

My fiancé did it in the sink last night – hadn’t been washed for 8days yuk!!!! My mum bought me a little fold up stool that I say on, I covered my sports bra ism cling film, then wore a bin bag!! And then draped a towel around my neck and fastened with a clip.

I put another towel on edge of sink for resting my neck on.

It worked, although for first time since day 3 I’ve started getting really bad Sharp pains at the incision point of one boob – I think I may have stretched back too much. So my advise is don’t lean back too much! Also I tried to dry my own hair – which is too difficu lt when u can’t lift arms up, this could also be the reason so if u can get someone to dry it!

    Good luck

Haha that made me giggle a little bit! you were definitely not getting anything wet! Haha thank you yeah I didn’t want to lean back as my right boob is having a lot of shooting pains at the side and near my incision but at the same time it aches to lean forward! My nana is going to dry my hair for me thank god! Hope your recovering well and your pain dies down a little! Xxxx

Hi Sophie best thing I did was buying a can of batiste dry shampoo original It works a treat and realy refreshes your hair even when greasy ,also no stress of bending over ect trying to wash your hair ,also now when I get my hair blow dried I use this inbetween and it lasts forever : )

Hey hun, I knelt at side of bath head over, and my daughter washed mine… didn’t pull to much, was fine.. just hold your boobs if you feel better.. think its less stress than stretching backwards as its really important not to reach up or stretch for your incisions.. xxxx

Hahaha I know! I was determined not to get wet! My fiancé was in a towel and me in my stupid ugly all on one vaser compression garment then the doing film and bin bag and we both burst out laughing, looked like we were up to some wierd fetish thing!!!! I can confirm they DID NOT GET WET though 😉 he he.

Just got back from my post op and good news is the pain I’m having is normal and incisions are all healing well and now had my dressings off and can shower normally HoOraY!!!
