Water retention/ bloating po

Just wondering if anyone had any tips on how to shift the bloated belly?? I’m going to the toilet regular so it’s not due to constipation or pain relief tablets as iv been off them for a while now…I’m 10 days po and still really bloated. I think it must be water retention so iv got some hri tablets to see if they work?? X

Im looking for the same answer I fort I was putting weight on even tho I’m not over eating I feel constantly bloated and my clothes are tighter xx

I look bigger than I did when I was 5 months pregnant lol starting to worry now it’s never gonna go down! What day are you? X

I’m exactly the same, 10 days PO I thought it was the tablets I took for 3 days but now I’m just always bloated .. I guess because we are resting so not using as much energy ?
I think it’s because i’m not doing as much ..? i went for walk today to try and help it because feeling a bit frumpy lol

I’m day 15 today and no better. I even cut all snacks out yesterday and still look and weigh the same. I was 8st 8 when I went in for my op and I’m now 8st 11 xx

Iv just started taking hri tablets and woke up this morning a little better!! They are ment to help shift water retention 🙂 xx

Let us know how they go☺️ I’ve got a constant bubble belly but I thought this morning I haven’t been using my stomach muscles to move so maybe that’s why aswell lol

Hi ladies

I had my surgery about 11 days ago and still feel slightly bloated apparently it is results of the swelling. The swelling gradually moves down your body and will eventually disappear via the lymphatic system
Walking and drinking plenty of fluids will help reduce it.

Aw that’s reassuring to know hun…I’m 11 days post op and still really bloated it’s getting me down 🙁 feel like iv comes out with a new body as well as boobs lol. Xx
