Wearing a normal bra?

I’m 7 weeks post op and despite being pretty much back to normal I find it sooooo uncomfortable to wear a normal underwired bra. It rubs on my incisions! I have only managed to wear on for a couple of hours before it gets too irritating and I have to remove it.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I was the same at first I had to buy a few bras to find ones that were comfortable, you haven’t healed fully yet it will get easier 🙂 maybe buy a bra without an underwire for a while? I’ve just had my second op so back in Macom bra! 🙁 xx

I’m still finding them uncomfortable and I’m now 3 months post op – I got a few non wired from m&s and they sometimes irritate me too . My most comfortable bra is my sports bra that I wore straight after surgery !! I just got a new bra today with wire so I’m going to try wearing that for a short time and see how it goes x

Aww no, it will get better. I had no boobs at all before my first surgery so it was really strange for me even wearing a bra that held my boobs to be honest! But it took a few weeks for me to get used to wearing bras with boobs ? Sounds strange I know, but I was uncomfortable for a while. If it’s actually hurting or irritating you maybe ring mya and ask? I’m sure they’ll just say it’s because your scars are new though 🙂 I can’t wait to get measured already this time! Another 5 and a half weeks left for me haha xxx
