weeping on bra..

went for my week check she said there healing really well for a week post op got another appointment on thursday, she put steri strips on underneath and down from my nipple (had full anchor uplift) however changed my bra yesterday and i had like a yellow liquid on it, had my mum check and there is nothing on the steri strips and they dont look red or anything. is this normal ? any help is appreciated xx

Hi hun, didn’t nurse put antibacterial spray over your scars, coz that’s yellow in colour xxx

Do not panic, I also had yellow fluid leak from mine at my week post op check the nurse had a look & said its perfectly natural it was only a small amount & my body would absorb it eventually just to keep an eye on it, I’d give your nurse a ring though honey just for piece of mind..let us know 🙂 xx

im not to sure, i was queezy when she was changing them but not that i noticed. my mum said it looks like its weeping but theres nothing on steri strips so was a bit unsure. i had fresh blood and weeping on my dressings before my week check and rang emergency number and she said its normal. yea iv been checking them every night it isnt increasing and it literally a pea size amount, will keep my eye on it. thank you for the help. xxx

That happend to me too my nurse took a swab and sent it off to labs come bk clear she said it was my body healing it’s self it’s fine as long as its not smelly and green x

It’s horrible isn’t it, especially around the nipple..I was pulling all kinds of faces :/ aw that’s alright then hun I had blood too but never masses so just kept my eye on them all the time, still do & I’m all healed lol! They’re looking fab though hun, how they feeling? Xx

yea because there numb aswell it just felt weird like i should fee it but i wasnt and that was making it worse. no mine was just a small amount and she said there healed really well for a week so the blood must have been nothing. yea im the same. mine are going through the prickly heat tingly stage and bruising is coming out. thanks, theyve been okay found it easier than i though i would there just really misshaoed underneath look like 2 Boulders, so hopefully they will settle and shape its on 2 weeks on wednesday so iv got a while to wait just impatient. xxx
