what are the revision surgery terms?

i’m currently 8 months post op, and i hate admitting it but recently i feel like my implants are too big, and a lot bigger than what i wanted. i’m petite, 5ft 1″ and was a 32a pre op. i’m now a 30e/32dd. for the first few months i loved them, but the past couple months i feel like they’ve settled more into their true size and they feel massive. what are the terms for corrective surgery?! if anyone can help i would be so greatful x

@katielavergould from what I’ve heard corrective is tricky, I’d speak to your PC at the clinic and see what their take is on it.

I feel this issue would be so easily avoided if we could see the implant size and shape in the decision making process. I was given 400cc UHP and if I’d seen it before I reckon I would have maybe chose to go bigger (not by much but still would have pushed to achieve what I envisaged). I was given sizers to try during consultation but they were teardrop shaped and actually now I think back on it, didn’t give me a true reflection on the size.

Your boobs looks fab! Proper boob envy! But if they aren’t right for you then they just aren’t.

thanks for replying vicki! i thought that it would be tricky. this is my first step in looking into it anyway. i haven’t been on this forum in months! and now all of a sudden i’m thinking of a re op and back on here.

were you not shown your implant size before?! did you not get to try them on?! see my problem is i went back for a second consultation because i was worried that they would be too big. admittedly they looked okay then, but it’s so hard to tell until they’re actually in your body! i guess thats the risk we take.

i haven’t had my 6 month check up either, which no one has chased me up on at all. i’m going to book in for that and see what they say then.

i’ve just spent an hour or so trying on all my bras and dresses again, i think maybe it’s just a phase i’m going through with them?! they look bigger without a bra and clothes on which i think is weird! i definitely prefer the way they look in a bra than without. and i’m finding i prefer certain style of bras over others that are more flattering.
