I am planning to take a week holiday for my breast enlargement but I know all the girls at work will ask why I’m having time off. Unsure on what to say to them as its quite personal, and they aren’t fans of ‘fake boobs’. Help 🙁

Whatever you want. holiday left you need to use. a family matter you cannot really discuss … ;). Whatever you feel comfy telling them.

I’m in the same position and still wondering what to say, I booked my time off its just that when I get back and I can’t lift anything I have no idea what to say. They’re like my extended family but they’re all quite old so I know they’ll judge me. But I’ll feel bad for lying :/ xxx

Just say you have back/spine issues and your physiotherapist dont want you to lift or move anything around for atleast 3 weeks. xx

I’m worrying about this too as I’m a nurse and wont be able to lift anything heavy for a while, I have taken two weeks holiday for it. X

I booked a week off work and then said i would be working from home for a week. I was really getting myself worked up about what i would say to my team. It was mostly the two most senior members of my team both male and both like father figures to me.
I wrote an email explaining I was having cosmetic surgery (and i would say no more) but that that is the reason i wouldn’t be in or would be quiet/not very active when i came back. They guessed what i was having straight away and have been super cool about it. I worried for nothing.

Try not to worry about it too much ladies. I’m sure your colleagues will be fine and if they judge you or dont like what your doing its there problem!!
