I had a baby 11 months ago, and after having him my boobs became empty sacks of skin. My boobs ballooned out a lot whilst I was pregnant. I’d say about a D from a big B. I loved the way they looked, well not at first lol took a while to get used to them but when they disappeared so did my confidence and self esteem. My sister had a ba and I was always against it until having my baby. My other half is not a boob guy and I didn’t want him to try change my mind, oh believe my mum tried that one already big sigh. Its funny as when I had my doctors appointment I saw a replacement doctor and had mentioned my surgery. His response was why are you doing it, is it for your partner silly man!!! To which I then told him actually my partner doesnt like Boone as crazy as that sounds and he didn’t even know I was getting it done. He was quite shocked with an indirect slap in the face lol. I’m doing this for me and noone else, can’t wait to feel good about my body again as I’ve always been happy until now. My mum, two sisters, best friend and now other half know and Thats all until I get it done xx

My story isn’t that far off yours really. When I was pregnant I took the eating for 2 thing too far and put on about 7 stone. My boobs went from a b to a d and then when I lost all the weight, back down to a flat b. When I get to my ideal weight (which is around 8/9 stone), they go even smaller. Before I can book anything boob related though, I’m getting my stomach done as I have problems with my tummy button x

Hey hun yeah that is basically the same as me. Although I couldn’t hold much food down so didn’t put on much weight at all and even after I gave birth I kept losing. Sorry to hear about the problems youre having with your tummy button. Do you have a date yet? X

For me it was the same as you girls. I’d always been yoyo-ing with my weight.

I was due to get married in the September 2011 and weighed 11 stone. I’d bought a fitness dvd to lose some weight pre wedding and literally hadn’t took the wrapping off and found out I was pregnant in the July.

All weight loss went out of the window and by March 2012 just after I had him I weighed 13st 5. I was breastfeeding so even when I lost a bit of weight I was a 34ff!

During 2012, I lost an incredible amount of weight due to breastfeeding and running round after a toddler and newborn that fed every 2 hours.

My lowest weight was December 2012 when I was 7st 12. However, I was left with what looked like empty balloons on the front of my chest. In clothes I looked fine so no one apart from my partner understood. I constantly wore push up boost bras but felt disgusting taking my clothes off to be left with droopy flaps of skin.

I felt self conscious during sex with my partner and also if I did anything like wash my hair over the bath they hung down like udders.

I have only told a handful of friends and they say “You don’t need it” but they don’t understand how I felt without clothes.

I am 6 days post op and so happy with the decision I made….The mother in law doesn’t know yet tho…eek haha xxx

Omg Jennie I know exactly how you feel leaning over I’m like what the heck is that I could use mines as parachutes.

Yep I have mum, my sister who has had a ba trying to talk me out of it as all of a sudden she is suffering from back pains and thinks she has gone too big. I’ve never heard her complain in the two years since she had them done. My eldest sister thinks its because of competition how silly. My bestfriend is against it too, and my other half of course he thinks there’s nothing wrong but Thats because he’s not a boob fan. If it was my bum I’m sure he would be like HELL YEAH!!! Lol

Omg not even thinking of the family in law you just reminded me, they never have anything nice to say anyway hehehe. Will be funny to see their reaction.

So glad you are happy with your decision hun as its your body and your choice. Its about your happiness that’s all that matters. How are you feeling, what size did you go for?

I don’t think some people understand how it makes you feel! I’m not gonna suddenly become a porn star overnight and be whipping them out any chance u get haha!

I have 325cc and an uplift in one and 350cc in another.

I am only 6 days post op but recovery has been good so far!

I went to the in laws on Sunday wearing a hoody and no one seemed to notice but dreading the comments when they realise haha…might just wear a hoody forever!!

I think you have to just do it for yourself and ignore anyone who might be jealous etc! Have you booked anything yet xxx

My god ladies, it’s like reading my own story!! I too went up to a DD when breastfeeding from a 34b, now they’ve returned to pre-baby size but very empty at the top and it’s all at the bottom of my boob.

It’s annoying that lots of people think it’s for your male half! Like your fella, Charlene, my hubby is not a boob man (more a bum man he says) and said don’t do it for him, but it’s hard for people to understand it’s now always about everyone else, it’s how you feel about yourself.

I’ve wanted this done since before I was pregnant, I am quite broad and never had much boobage, so never felt girly enough to wear those sexy dresses which mean you can’t wear a bra, as I just look like a boy in a frock!

Only 4 weeks today to wait for me! wooooo xx

Same for me girls! I fell pregnant at 18 and went from an A cup to a D and loved how full they were whilst breast feeding. My daughter wasn’t putting on weight so I just stopped breast feeding quickly instead of slowly transitioning and was left with really deflated saggy boobs. I’m now 21 and feel like I have the boobs of a 60 year old! When I lean forward or to the side they are so wrinkly and empty it literally makes me cry! Certainly not doing it for my husband either, he married me even with my ugly boobs so no need to impress him, can’t stand when people say that! Us mums deserve to do something for ourselves too! I’ve told everyone as I’m just so excited I can’t keep it in and will have to order a new work uniform so had to let my work know. Good luck for all you girl pre op xx
