What to expect – 1 week check up

Hi ladies, I’ve got my one week check up tomorrow and I was wondering what to expect? Also i cant remeber if they said the stiches need removing or they’re dissolvable. All I want to do is shower… Please tell me they let you after this check up?!

I have mine this Friday so interested in this too! My nurse told me my strapping will be coming off and far as I know you can shower. Stitches are dissolvable I was told not sure if this applies to every surgeon though. Good luck ? I’m nervous about how it will feel I imagine having the strapping off will be painful and worried how they’ll feel without that amount of support, worried about the strain on my incisions as not a clue what state they’re in ? xx

@aimee did you have unders? I had overs and didn’t have any strapping on. I’ve just got dressing over my stitches. Hope your healing is going well chick, I’m braving driving tomorrow ? x

I had mine today, I had unders. They removed strapping and stitches and I could finally shower! 🙂
