Looks like the skin is darker or hyper pigmentation on the inside . How long have u been using sunbeds post op? Like how long did u wait? U should send these pics to ur nurse who can forward them onto ur surgeon.

Hi Donna , did nurse and surgeon have no answers for you Hun? So sorry your having issues and not happy. I’ve stumbled across issues myself. I’m only 5wpo so perhaps mine will settle but I’m not holding my breath on that.

Try not to stress atm as hard as it is until u see ur surgeon it’s just pure speculation which will make u mega anxious. I personally would try to limit or stop the sunbed use tho as ur not meant to expose them to direct uva/uvb for the first year and use a high factor. They’re still healing and if uve got an issue u don’t want to possibly make it worse, tanning is damaging to skin especially sunbeds. Make sure ur really moisturising x

Sorry to see your still no further forward Donna, when you saw your surgeon did he not indicate whatsoever what the problem might be? I know you were told to wait a few months to see if things did improve but were you not given any kind of encouraging information to help you get through that time or a plan of what they could do to help you move forwards if it did not correct it’s self? Xxx

Also it’s very clear this has not been caused by sunbed use (especialy since you have been like this since your first day post-op but i agree with fran that you need to cease sunbed use straightaway, if you do end up having a re-op you are going to have post-op swelling again and the pigmentation of skin around your breast area could be left patchy from going through that skin stretching twice and being exposed to UVA right throughout, the no sunbed rule is not just about incisions it’s the whole chest area so look after your skin hunni xxx

Sorry ladies I haven’t been on here for a couple of days 🙂 I will stop the sunbed as of now.. @Claudine when I saw him the first time he said something about my chest muscles being strong and to massage it and to do some shoulder and arm movement to get it going that’s all really he said to go back in 4 months and see what’s going on I said then what he said he can go back in and open up something and get it sorted out I asked if I wanted him to get them out and put them over the muscle instead of under would he do that he said if you want me to do that… xx
