When can I shower?!

I’m 8 days post op and went to see the nurse a couple of days after my op as I had a rash near my scar, she said everything was okay and that I didn’t need to see her again till my 6 week check up and told me to take my steri strips off myself on Wednesday but didn’t say when I could shower! Is it just a set time for everyone when they can shower or different depending on each persons healing time?xx

You need to wait until you see the nurse and she should tell you. It’s usually at 10 days x

Sorry I just reread your post, I would just call and check but normally shower is the same day as removing steri strips as they’re so hard to get off dry, just call and ask xx

showers are around 10 days after op but need to keep area as dry as pos and dont soak them! or if ur carefull have a shower sooner but just hose areas n avoid boobies compleatly lol
