I’m a week post op on Wednesday but I don’t have my post op check up until Friday, because nobody has bothered to book me in for one! Does this mean I still can’t shower until after I’ve seen the nurse on friday? X
Hi Kelly I was told to wait till I had my post op 7days, then when I saw the nurse on my post op she change the dressing to a single small plaster type cover and said leave that on for a further 3 days then Shower and take them off but not to get any soap/ shampoo on wounds so becareful after they are off for a week or so xx

Great!! Haha I just want a shower… Yeah I’m happy with the results. I’m in a bit of pain with the left incision, it looks like I’ve got a huge bruise. So that’s probably why. It’s easing off today a bit TBH though. Starting to get itchy now. I also have a weird feeling in my right breast. Feels like water is swaying about lol. Really hard to explain Xxx how are yours settling in Xxx
I know I was the same, had to go to the my friends salon to get hair washed and dried to feel normal!
Mine feel great really happy. I’ve had the odd strange twinge and tingle but overall no issues. I didnnt know I had any bruising till removed the last bandage as its only bruised along scars but not really got much feeling underneath yet so not feeling the pain from it The itching also drove me mad! Ha
First shower was the nicest feeling after 11 days of shallow baths x
