When can you wear a normal bra?

I’m nearly 5 weeks post op and feel more than ready to wear a bra! Advice??? Xxxx

I’d wait for your 6 week check to be given the all clear by the nurse 🙂 xx

Usually around 6 weeks, I’d start with softer ones, you can get really pretty maternity bras for example! Your Dr will need to clear you for underwire, they can be a bit sore on your incisions though so just listen to your body 🙂

You need to wait till your 6 week check up. I didn’t have mine till nearly 8 weeks but kept to wearing sports bra, then got the ok and other than night time not wearing them..which is sooo gooodd to get in a normal bra, makes clothes look so much better xx

I haven’t had the all clear from my surgeon but nurse said that it’s fine for me to wear underwire and I’ve had no pain. Oh goddddd panicking now haha :/ x

Hey ladies went I went for my 6 week check up I got told no underwire until 12 weeks po I have tried a couple times and found that after a couple hours it becomes really uncomfy! But I wore one nearly all day yesterday and it was much better I’m around 11 weeks po good luck but don’t rush it you paid a lot of money and there’s still loads of changes from 5 weeks xx
