when to start using bio oil! or cream !

hey im 4 weeks post op tomorrow and my post op nurse told me not to use any creams for a year on my boobs! but my boobs are starting to look scaley and get strecth marks when did everyone start using bio oil or their creams,? also what creams or oils would you recommend ?

I was told 6 weeks but ive just very gently been putting bio oil on the top of them to prevent stretch marks and scaliness xx

I got told between 6 and 8 weeks before anything on scars it depends how quickly you heal xx

I started using bio oil as soon as my dressings were off, just made sure it didn’t go anywhere near my incision (used it to prevent stretch marks at first), then at my 2 months post op I checked with the nurse it was okay to start using it on my scar and that was fine :-)… a thing that REALLY helps with the incision scar is sun beds, if that’s what your using the oil for! I Havnt uploaded any pictures in a while but you cant even see mine anymore, literally paper thin 🙂 x
