Which bra is best to use after the operation? I haven’t a clue what size to order as well I’m 36a I was told to order a ‘D’ cup bra. But which bra is most supportive also most comfortable after operation? And easy to fasten at front it a must as well thanks x

I personally think the Macom but I know others may disagree. I could only get into a zip up sports bra 3 weeks post op and even then it started to hurt. I also tried an m & s post op bra that hurt my incisions so am back to the Macom at nearly 4 weeks po. I ordered it in xs and s as am usually a 30/32 back. After my op the xs wouldn’t do up so they put me in the s but by 2 weeks po the swelling had gone down and I needed the xs. Hope that helps a bit x

i have the macom bra i will be getting more after my surgery (wednesday) but the macom bra was the best because u just need to no ur band size it dosent go by cup size because it stretches

Yeah I think macom will be the best option because I was looking at sports bras and post op bras today and I just stood there staring at them for like half an hour not having a clue what size I would need. I get told order a bigger band size because incisions will be painful after the op and maybe my normal band size for when the pain eases up and swelling reduces but then I here people say the macom wasn’t supportive enough and some surgeons don’t recommend it? There are that many support bras and post op bras out there I think it’s driving me insane knowing which one to go for. Someone recommended shock absorber which I understand is very supportive but it has no front fastening so would be difficult after the op, I have read ones with zip fastening keeps coming back down now and again. Ouch my head! Hahaha they are pricey as well I don’t wanna order like 3 good support bras which are like £30-£35 each and turn out they are not correct x

I had my pre op and my nurse said definitely a Macom. You can use the code MYBREAST online to get 15% off (worked for me anyway) xxx
