Why is under my arm hurting so much?! Any girls had the same pain?

My left boob has basically no pain at all but my right one kills at the side and like as if it’s pain in my arm pit ! I really wana nap but this is keeping me awake? Is this normal , only one day post op but it hurts 🙁 xxx

Did you have drains? The first couple of days most the pain I had was from where the drains had been and it felt like a stinging near my armpit! I had it on both sides but it was a lot worse on one side and made me wince whenever I moved.

Either way I’m sure its nothing to worry about as you are only one day post op. But you can always call MYA to put your mind at ease.

I was never told I was having drains or anything so I’m guessing not !!! Could it be because I went under the muscle so it’s just the muscle hurting ? and it also hurts to sit up and stuff ! I’m scared in case I do anything wrong !! I stayed in over night and when I was telling the nurse about it she checked my boobs and said they were doing well so I guess it’s all part of healing ! Just worrying cos I don’t know what to expect ahahah ! Thanks though 🙂 xxx

I’ve had the exact same! It’s nothing to worry about. My left put was hurting more than my right and I started to get shooting pains but that’s your nerves reconnecting. I just lightly massaged it and it went away gradually. I had 350cc unders xxxx

Is it your more dominant side that’s hurting? The one you use the most? May just be because it’s being used more than the other side x

I’m the exact same sophie, I started getting scared ? I’m PO day 5 and it’s easing off a little, it feels like the implants nearly under my arm ? when you sit up and stuff it will get easier just make yourself get up through the pain and keep doing the exercises they told you to do and it will ease off loads xxx

Hey lovely… It is most likely to be where you’re under the muscle however I experienced something else….

My left was fine no pain atall and I had unders but my right was sore, I noticed when I looked properly I was strapped funny, dunno if you had strapping? But on my right I had quite a bit of boob fat hanging over so the strapping was digging so deep in to my arm pit which was causing pain, pain went once strapping was removed!

If u didn’t have strapping then I am sure it’s just the norm healing process xxxx

Yea Lauren it’s my right side which is the one I use most and I was thinking maybe I was moving that arm too much because the other one had the Canula thing in and I didn’t want to catch it on anything !!
And aww Carla ! It is scary when we don’t know what to expect and I just want everything to go smoothly :p yeaaa I havnt really moved much just been to one shop and been in bed quite a lot but I am going to go round a shopping centre tonight so walking around may help like getting used to having them in my body and moving around !!! Just got to be patient I guess !!
And ahh I see A! Well I was wondering whether it was something to do with my sports bra , because it is soooo tight (which obviously it has to be ) but when I like stretch it just to give me some relif the pain kinda goes down! Just hope my boobs are recovering well! Haha think I need reassurance they are okay more than anything cos then the pain is worth it !!! 2 days post op now so will just have to see how it goes !! I want my one week post op check up to hurry up! Ahah
