I’m at a party next week and I’ll be post op day 14! I am thinking of chancing wearing no sports bra for the day.
I also came across a stick on bra that you can fasten in the middle and it almost works as a push up sort of bra, was thinking of trying that.
Would anyone else chance this ?? My outfit just won’t look good with a sports bra haha. Xx

I have heard of girls that haven’t wore one for a night out but I suppose you will just have to be very careful, such as if you have a dance or anything because they are supposed to be supported. I’m out next week but I would be 4 and half weeks then and even then my nurse said make sure they are supported and don’t get too drunk either. You have to think as well that you might be very careful but other people who are around you might be drunk and could accidentally bang into you which could be dangerous. If you do hun is just say be extra cautious.
My nurse told me of a girl that went out on a night out 5 and half weeks po and she got extremely drunk and fell over face first and her incisions burst open and her implant came out in the middle of the street!! How bad is that!! @keeley xx

@keeley I had my strapping taken off at 10 days so I would have said it may be really difficult to go bra less and the stick on bra is a prob not good idea. A bra without wires is a possibility.I still had dressings on at 18 days so couldn’t have gone bra less and when I did take my bra off the pressure on my incisions causes awful pain.
Even now at 5 months I wear sports bra 24/7 unless I am going out in a night out.
See how you feel when you get to that point x x x

I’d say defo no way, at just 14 days post op your wounds are still open, that kind of pressure on them is not good! Xx
