Will you still be able to have op while having period ???

Hi girlie .my op is exactly 1 month today and I am worried whether having period could be a reason for them to postpone the op date ?Kim X

I’ve never heard of this happening surely not as there would end up being so many cancellations !! xxxx

Hi Kim , I was on my period and it was fine you just have to wear a sanitary towel not allowed tampax but can use tampax straight after (when your up and about ) x

Hiya kim, I was due on that day, didn’t start till the day later but was fine. I was asked the date of my last period but that’s only to work out if u could be pregnant, wasn’t asked if I was actually on my period, so I wouldn’t worry x

Oh thanks ladies …such a relief to know !I was so worried that they would cancel it for that reason and I would have to wait for longer time to have my boobs done while I booked my holiday for 2 weeks ,the childcare is already sorted out ….xx

I was on mine rang mya to inform they said tell nurse on day ( I was worried too) she said ok I’ll get you a pad to put in but came back and said I was fine with my tampon and to leave my normal knickers under my paper 🙂 x

They constantly have females on their periods during BA, and I hear they are great about it, you just tell them when u arrive. However I badly didn’t want to be on, during or whilst revering so I went to the docs and got noresthisterone. My doc says they are known as the holiday pill. Stop u having a period for 2weeks or if ur on, can make u come off. I would use them. Had my BA done today my poor hubby is wiping my bum, I couldn’t imagine being on as well ? xx
