Hi all, I was jogging quite a lot before my BA and am dying to get back out there. Seems I have acquired a lil holiday weight over Xmas hahaha. I’m now 3 weeks post op and am dying to do SOMETHING!! When can I even start doing sit ups or anything and how long did you ladies wait?

Hey nads I’m 3 weeks and two days PO and like you, before my op I was very active and always in the gym .. It’s been the hardest per of recovery not going to the gym 🙁 I feel like a beach whale lol.. However I did go to the gym yesterday and done all leg stuff so leg weighs, non weighted squats and lunes etc but still no cardio .. Just under 3 weeks and we can go back to normal! I feel your pain lol! X

Hey Rebecca, it’s killing me!! I know those next 3 weeks are going to fly by but I’m looking forward to it. Think I might start doing light work. How’s your healing going? Mine has been plain sailing x

Hiya, I had my 6 week post op appt today and was advised no running for an extra 2 months and no swimming for 1 month but I’m able to do everything else. I started doing lightweight lower body exercise about 4 weeks PO though just have to take it easy up top xxx

I’m booked in for my BA next weekend and I’m dreading not being able to exercise. Is it 6 weeks until you can run or longer? How many weeks until you can plank/press up? X
