Hey ladies, I haven’t told my boss at work about my BA and I’m back next weekend which will leave me 2 weeks post op, i work behind a bar and had under the muscle implants. I’m really worried that I wont be able to do the hand pull pumps… what do I tell her? Should I just tell her, she’s lovely but I don’t want her to judge me as she’s almost 62 and she doesn’t agree with stuff like that. Just don’t want to do any damage to myself but i’m worried about telling her… Please help xxx

I would tell her. It’s about what you wanted. Try not to let what other people think get to you. It’s your body and your choice. At least if you tell her she may help you out at work. X

I’d tell her, I was really worried about my boss judging me, but actually its about your health which is more important!! Its better to let her know so she has the right expectations about your capabilities than you feeling like you are letting her down and pushing yourself!!

When I go back (8 days PO) I am going to have a risk assessment so we can set some boundary’s about what I can and cant do.. and my boss was really cool about it, and is keeping it secret so there were no problems!
Im sure it’ll be fine, good luck though!xxx

Thanks hun, think I’ll go into work sometime this week to have a chat with her. Tell her exactly how I felt before and try to help her see it from my point of view… one of my friends who i work with told me to tell her and that she wouldn’t be that bad, I don’t think she will be I just think i’m over thinking things!
