Hi ladies, I have my surgery booked for Jan 2017 and I’m super excited. My surgeon has recommended I have Moderate height, high projection 335cc – Anatomic (tear drops). I was really happy with my surgeons recommendation until reading so many things online saying that the implants may rotate or move around and now I’m now super worried about getting them. I’ve been looking at so many vlogs on Youtube in the hope I can find someone that will put my mind at ease but I think majority have round implants which has made me wonder whether there is a reason for this and that maybe tear drops cause more issues?

If there are any ladies out there that have had tear drops, I’d really appreciate your feedback.

    Please help x

They put the implant in a really tight pocket and then that’s why you’re supposed to wear your post op bra and not do much( lifting heavy things etc) for a couple of weeks after your operation so that your tissue then surrounds the implant and it shouldn’t then be able to move/ turn around x

Don’t be worried. Teardrops might have a chance of rotating but the percentage is very small. Teardrops actually have a lower rate of CC and are considered one of the best implants to have. Overall, the pros of outweigh the risks. Xx

I’m just over 9 weeks post op and I had 350cc teardrops, I’ve had no problems at all so far and they look so natural. The percentage of them turning is about 1%, like Imogen says the pros definitely outweigh the cons

The risk of them flipping is about 1% so it really is incredibly low! My surgeon said they’re placed so tight in the pocket that the chances of them moving is extremely unlikely. I’m over 2 months post op now and so far no problems with mine. I’d definitely say go with what your surgeon recommends as they are the expert and know what will suit you xx

Hey Hun – honestly don’t worry. There are the same risks with teardrops as rounds (but just slightly different). The risk of rotation is very very slim these days due to how they make the implants. I had treardrops on 6 April this year. My surgeon does a lot of them. He did my friend 6 years ago and she’s not had any issues. At one of my follow ups my surgeon told me if Rotation is going to happen it will be in the first 2 weeks. So resting up and listening to your surgeon’s advice is key to recovery. Hope that reassures you! Xx

Wow, Becki they look amazing and so natural. Only 4 weeks post op too, they look great. I’d be very pleased if mine turn out the same, fingers crossed. Have you been measured? roughly know what bra size? I’ve got to go back to work 11 days after surgery, would this be enough time for them to have healed? I don’t want work knowing so I’m a little worried in case they notice I’m not 100%

Thanks so much Bassett28, this is so good to know and very reassuring. What is your Surgeons name? I’ve got Mr Giannas from Transform, he was recommended for the more natural look as that’s what I’m after and he seems great although I can’t find much on him. What size bra do you now wear? I’m curious as I’d ideally like to be a C cup maybe a small D but worried they may end up bigger.

Thankyou Hun 🙂 I’m so pleased with them. I got measured in m&s at 6 weeks in their non wired bras but I need a 34E underwires. They don’t look that big though it’s just because implants sit differently in the underwire than natural boobs.
I didn’t want massive boobs either but you want it to be worth it so I’d definitely say get a decent size as the boob greed really is real! I wanted no more than a D when I went into my consultations and now I think I could have easily had a few more ccs and still look natural. The surgeons know best so listen to what they advise 🙂
I haven’t told anyone either bar a handful of people, I had 11 days off work too before I went back and I had no problems being back at work pretty much all the acheyness etc had gone by then.

Becki – would you mind if I add you as a friend? I’m booked in for teardrops at the bmi in Feb and am really unsure about what size to go for! Thanks xx

I had 310cc and 350cc teardrop unders 4 weeks ago with Dr Fiumara and honestly you’ve got nothing to worry about. As the other girls said the risk is minimal. Im happy with mine already and still have plenty more dropping and fluffing to go x

@beckixo What size was you before you had these? Im debating whether to change to tear drop. x
