    Hey girls,
I’m just over 3 months PO. Before my op I did bits of gymnastics and I’m wanting to get back into it (v gently!) So for the last 3 weeks or so I’ve been doing gentles stretching and starting to get back to it. So far I’ve been great – not over doing it, not aches/pains.
On Friday I felt ready to gently push up into a crab – this felt fine and I was really pleased! But since then I’ve felt a bit achey in my chest 🙁 not sore or anything and no pulling/twinges just a bit sore! Could this just be because I’m using different muscles!? Really worried that I might have done myself some damage!! Is this possible this far down the line?
    Thanks in advance! xx

Maybe it’s just getting the muscle used to being worked again? Don’t forget you had a break once you’d had your op. If the pain continues ring the clinic and speak to a nurse or try your GP x

    Hey Kate.
You had overs didn’t you? And I’m assuming you had your 6 weeks post op check up…did your surgeon say that you are fine to go back to what you used to before? Did you mention gymnastics to him? xx

    Thanks girls x

I had overs yeah – I wouldn’t say it was painful, it’s just a little bit achey more than anything else! I’m not having to take pain killers or anything, and I’m not noticing it too much, just mostly when I’m sitting at work over thinking it!!
I mentioned it at my check up yep and was told to start slowly with everything – which I’ve completely done! Since Friday I’ve been wearing my sports bra for every day stuff like being at work etc as extra support 🙂 they’re not sure to touch or hard or inflamed or anything, it’s only a bit of an ache so I’m hoping it’s just the muscles getting used to being worked again! xx
