Worried my op will be cancelled

Hi girls,

This is really embarrassing! but I’m having my op next Tuesday and I’m really worried it’s going to get cancelled because I think I’ve got thrush. Has anyone else had this and been cancelled because of it?

Sorry for asking but is it oral or vaginal? I doubt vaginal will matter. I had a great big cold sore on my and it didbt matter and they spread easy. Get yourself treatment asap and ring your clinic

It’s vaginal haha I wasn’t sure if it would but I’ve been to scared to take anything for it cs I know they’re strict with what Meds you can have before the op. Thanks for your advice I’ll speak to them today xxx

I’m sure you will be okay Hun and if you got cream or whatever for it today it usually goes in a few days, good luck xxx

Im sure the pessary and cream would be ok think its more oral meds

I was about to say the same as Louise! The pessary and cream should be ok xxx

I asked one of the nurses and they said it’s fine to take either just need to do it today.. phew! Thanks everyone xxx
