Yay my operation date moved to April 18th.

Wow hope I get booked in quickly, I have my first consultation on Tuesday and I can’t wait I go on holiday start of June and really really want them done mid may but I’m thinking I might be being to impatient …. when did u book your surgery if it was originally in may? Xx

Sorry for late reply, I asked to be put on a cancellation list, I am self employed so could be really flexible with dates. I was originally booked in for May 9th but got a message today to say I could be fitted in on the 18th.

Hi becki, when was your first consultation then I’m quite flexible with times as can take holidays at work as long as I give 2 weeks notice … I literally have boob brain, I think my partners getting sick of me mentioning it now hehe xx

Dr traynor is my surgeon and I’m having 325 hp unders. What you having? Yeah you’ll have to let me know how you get on xxx

Chloe my first appointment was on 27th March xx I know the boob brain feeling, once I made my mind up then I wanted it to happen as soon as possible.

@hats123 Hi Harriet, I haven’t been given my admission time yet. I had pre-op today and the nurse said they will message me 2 days before to let me know the time. I am really excited . Have you started to get ready ? I got my Arnica tablets today, bio oil, Macom bra due to arrive tomorrow and going shopping for loose shirts, P’Js and V pillow tomorrow. i think this week will go really quick. What are you having done and with who?

Jade yours look fab already, Dr Traynor is wonderful, I trusted him completely and went with his recommendation and I’m so glad I did because they are the perfect size for me, exactly what I hoped they would be.
Jess I can’t wait to follow your journey and I want to reassure you whatever Dr Traynor advises go with it, don’t worry about it at all you are in safe hands ???????????????? thanks for all your kind support everyone

@beckis I was keeping an eye out on here all day to see if there was any updates from you, your results are amazing. Crazy to think that’s just day of surgery aswell. Think I’m deffo going to go with overs now. Like you said, he knows best and that’s what be advised xx

Tomorrow I will take a pic with my bra on and full body so you can see the proportion in comparison to my body. Straight away I feel like my boobs match the rest of my body, my whole body looks balanced now. They definitely don’t feel to big, but exactly right for me. I can’t wait to try on all my clothes, it’s a really good feeling Hun.
In my first consultation with Dr Traynor when I showed him my boobs he was very strong and confident when he said absolutely overs, would not even consider unders for me and gave me a choice between 325 and 375. He was so confident and experienced that I fully put my self in his hands, once u trust him you will not feel worried just excited. I can’t wait for u to have yours done Hun, I know how excited u r.

How long do we have to keep the MACOM sports bra on? It’s so tight and uncomfortable ???? I’ve just loosened it a little and it already feels more bearable! Xx

@jadieb Hi Jade, i could only stand my macom for about 2 hours, it was really hurting my incisions and digging in so much. I ordered the macom i-bra in size medium ( I was a 34 C before surgery) i tryed on my M&S sports bra size 36DD and it felt soooo much better, but by midnight last night that bra was also digging in to my incisions and was really painful, i could hardly zip it up.
Today my hubby nipped out and bought me another M&S one in size 36 E and it feels perfect thankfully. I keep unzipping the bra and putting ice packs on. The nurse at the hospital said its fine to undo the bra as long as you sit VERY still. but its such a relief to release the pressure and the ice packs are literally a life saver, they completley numb the pain xx

Also when I was pregnant and my milk came in, so breasts became absolutley full and swollen like now, the midwifes recommended Savoy cabbage leaves straight out of the fridge put on your boobies to reduce pain and swelling and guess what it really works deffo helps, its something to do with a chemical in the cabbage so they said.
also I bought arnica cream aswell as the tablets to reduce bruising and swelling xx

Hey girls, I wouldn’t recommend the maccom at all by day 2 I had got rid of mine, I’m 3 weeks now and live in m&s!! Make sure you buy a chest size larger as more comfortable I’m currently in a 34E I was a 32A pre op! I feel like the m&s ones more supportive and a better shape my MaCom is too tight in strange places!! Xx

Ah gosh thanks for the advice! Just woken up at 2am ridiculously uncomfortable! I’m gonna look on M&S now as this is just unbearable! I’m going to let them breathe a little today as they feel so squished down! Also, do you have any feelings or sensations in your nipples yet? I’m still totally numb ???? Xx

Hi Jade @jadieb yes Undo the bra and put ice packs on for half an hour, but sit still!! it is so soothing. The bras are so restrictive, I must say the one my hubby picked up for me yesterday in a bigger size feels so much better, its not gigging in at all. it still feels supportive, but comfortable.
My nipples and under my boobs have felt quite numb, my nipples don’t even react to the ice packs, but i have just run my hand over my bra and i can feel that sensation so they can’t be completley numb.
