Yesterday!

Hi girls! Had my BA yesterday and both the sports bras I had bought are too tight especially around me. The nurse said I will need a bigger one but had to squeeze into this one for now so it’s really hurting! Mum had ordered me a bigger one which will come Friday, but I feel like I can’t breathe an the are being squashed too much! I also wondered, do I have to sleep fully upright? Or can I go flat on my back with just a normal pillow? And when can I take these surgical socks off as they are squashing my legs lol. Hope you can help x

Hun I’ve not had my ba yet but been told to sleep upright (4-5 pillows) for a week. Not sure about the flight socks tho. Hope your feeling ok. Xxx

Hiya, they say about 7-10 days but i think i went a bit longer, youll no just when you feel comfortable lying back down. but get one of them v pillows there the best! and i took my socks off as soon as i got home from the hospital x

Thank you! I ended lying down properly last night as that’s the only way I could get any sleep! And took my socks off this morning! I think I’m going to take my sports bra off for an hour this afternoon as that’s what’s hurting me and I can’t breathe properly! x

Do any of you know how long your boobs stay numb for afterwards? They don’t feel like they are mine atm at hard and completely numb x

Mine started to feel a bit more part of me at about 4 weeks, but the numbness can stay longer – the side and bottom of one of mine is still slightly numb 10 weeks po!! Apparently this is perfectly normal, its all to do with nerve endings healing etc xxx
