• Why did you want the procedure?

  I had always been self conscious of my nose. I absolutely hated having my picture taken from the side, and even sitting next to people on the tube I felt embarrassed for people to have a side view.

• Why did you choose MYA?

  I chose MYA because I had done a lot of research on Rhinoplasty, they offered me a great, fair price – and were there with me on hand via email and phone if I needed help. I found the nurses particularly friendly.

• How was your consultation?

  My Consultation was good, I had the information that I needed and it helped me to explore the options of which surgery i’d prefer, open or closed. I opted for closed. Charlotte was always there to help me by email.

• How was the day of your procedure?

  The day of the procedure was fine. I was nervous as expected however I went down to surgery about 12.30pm, arrived at about 9am.
  I was a bit scared and shaky (a few tears before hand too), but the surgical team were so nice and helped me to calm down before I went to sleep to have the op.

• How was your recovery?

  The first couple of days after were tough, I won’t lie.

  After about day 2/3 though, I started to feel a bit better and by day 5 I was going out for walks to get some air. I felt great when I had my cast off, although the nurse said my bruising was one of the worst she’s ever seen!

• Are you happy with your results?

  I couldn’t be happier with my results. I feel so much more confident, sometimes when people take pictures I feel nervous and then remember my nose no longer has a bump and looks great.
