So I had a consultation the other day and was told I need 100cc difference to correct asymmetry, really worrying myself as I’m thinking what if they still turn out to be visibly different sizes? Can any girls please post pictures on here who have had 100cc difference in implant size hopefully will put my mind at ease a bit, waited so long for this now it’s literally 2 weeks and 6 days round the corner! Any advice will be really appreciated thank you xx

One word of advice is don’t go into the whole thing expecting perfection. Just aim for an improvement and you will not be disappointed. I had tubular so my surgery was complex too & this would be my best advice as we are not starting off with perfect breasts already. The surgeon will know what he is doing and always aims for symmetry so I would trust their judgement xxx

@emsjaynewood I do trust my surgeon he’s amazing at what he does, but I can’t help but worry as it is my body and of course I want them to be perfect but I know that’s not realistic as long as they can get them as possibly close to that as they can I’ll be happy, just worried that what if it’s noticeably different, it’s just hard to put your trust in someone else’s hands I guess, once it’s done it’s done xx

Hey Paige, my op is on May 17th too im so nervous/excited ahhh!!

I’ve been reading so much into Breast Implant Illness which is honestly worrying me so much now as I didn’t know about it previously, I’ve wanted boobs forever but not sure if it is worth affecting my health 🙁

@heylivss Hey chick, Aww I’m so excited! I’ve read through all complications and things but the chances of them happening are slim, and any complications that happen are usually covered by warranty, I’ve tried to put things like that to the back of my mind as it causes unnecessary anxiety, my way of thinking is don’t worry about it until/if it happens, I was going through mya originally but had to change due to the surgeon I wanted leaving, so I’m now having it done through the company he’s with now, I had the choice to extend my warranty to 10 years not just 3 so that helped put my mind at ease, I was just fed up of feeling insecure about my breasts so I’d rather try fix it than always wonder and let it get to me, as long as you are 100% sure this is something you want and you accept that there are always risks and complications with surgery then go for it, just make sure you understand what the complications can be and what your options are if that should happen to you, please don’t worry there are just as many girls that are perfectly fine and healthy as there are that have experienced complications, hope your surgery goes smoothly for you and enjoy your boobies, much loves and best of luck with your new boobies 🙂 xxx

    Hiya,

I had my surgery 28th March and had 80cc difference between left and right implant to correct asymmetry…..which I really hadn’t particularly noticed prior to my surgeon pointing it out lol!!
I think since day 1 of the surgery the smaller boob with the larger implant has now looked slightly bigger than the other boob but this one has always been more swollen and sore so I hope it’s just taking a little longer to drop and settle etc. I think they look pretty even and i doubt anyone else would notice a difference in size between the two. I too was worried prior as it seemed a big difference I also had one high profile and one medium so must have been pretty wonky!…….trust your surgeon and good luck xx

Honestly this is something that I have wanted since I was about 13, soo sick of looking like a child and the thought of wearing a bikini now just terrifies me. I honestly wish I was the type of person that suited small boobs but that’s just not the case hahaha. I think just because the op is so soon I’m just freaking myself out by reading everything online.

I’ve got another consultation booked next week so I’m hoping to go over my concerns with my surgeon and talk properly about the warranty/boob insurance he offers. He actually told me that I will need them replacing every 15 years which I really wasn’t expecting.

Awww thank you so much lovely, I honestly hope it all goes well for you, you’ll have to keep me updated xxx

@pinkypie Hey Holl yeah it does seem a big difference and with every girl I’ve seen that’s had asymmetry before the smaller ends up being the biggest, hopefully it’ll be fine though, mine aren’t really bad but I have noticed it since my breast first grew, only about a cup size different, I have seen some who have 2-3 cup size different which must be awfully difficult with bras and clothes, mine look same size in bra it’s just one has slightly more breast tissue under than the other, hopefully all will be well and I know they can never get them perfectly symmetrical but just worrying myself I think cause it’s so close. Ahh wow I didn’t realise you could have 2 different style projections? Thought they had to be the same, cause I asked the first surgeon that about mine and he said that he can’t do that? I didn’t really feel like he knew what he was talking about though, the surgeon I have now I feel I have total faith in and I know his work is fab so fingers crossed!xx

@heylivss I know what you mean I’m the same wanted one for years but thought I would wait till I was 21 and I feel exactly the same now, that’s exactly how I am now too just cause it’s getting closer just nerves making me think overtime I think, what will be will be, so fingers crossed they’ll be awesome! Yeah they do recommend that just because the outer shell of the silicone will eventually start to breakdown, still 15 years is a long time, you may decide you want bigger or smaller or a lift if you’ve had children by then, and also those things have an effect on your skin so say you have children your breasts get naturally more empty and skin will sag so even if the implant is still fine your body may change in turn effecting how your implants will look over time, they should have told you these things in initial consultation? Yes will have to keep in touch, best of luck to you too I’m sure we will both be fine haha xx
