    So my boob day came!
I had mine with Mr Marcellino at the Fitzroy
Everyone at the Fitzroy were lovely and I was made very comfortable and felt at ease. I can’t thank them enough.

    Stats
    115lbs 5ft 4
Breastfed my kids so I had empty skin for boobs that didn’t fill any cup size
    I had 300cc under muscle

My admission time was 7.30 and I went into sugary at 11.00 so it was a bit of a wait but the rooms were en suit with a tv.

When I came out of surgery I was in agony (I’ve had two kids naturally so I know what pain is) it was really bad I’m not going to lie! The morphein did nothing for me! But they then gave me an alternative pain killer that helped a lot.

Two hours later I was feeling much much better. At the beginning I was worried that it was going to stay that painful for ever and it was very hard to cope with, but it did settle.

I had drains which were a little uncomfortable to remove but was over in seconds.

I have a LOT of dressing taped on and a strap. The dressing will be removed next week, but the strap I have to wear for 6 weeks!!! Because I have so much dressing I can’t see what shape or size my boobs are right now.

I have no sensation in my left breast it’s completely numb, where as my right is fine. I’m hoping this won’t last.

The bloat is real! I have a hard swollen tummy which makes me look 5 months pregnant.

I’m now home after being discharged about 9.20pm I’m finding it hard sleeping upright as it’s giving me a bad back.

The pain is now manageable. It feels like I’ve done a million push ups and loads of lifting at the gym. But other than that I’m ok….. for now. It will be interesting to see how I feel tomorrow. I hope it doesn’t get worse but I am preparing myself for it to get worse again before it gets better just so I’m ready.

I’ve been given pain killers, antibiotics and muscle relaxant.

    Wish me luck everyone! X

Congrats on your new boobs 🙂 I’m now 12 days post op and I promise you it does get easier. I started feeling more human a few days ago. The bloated tummy shocked me too lol.
    Happy recovery xx

Congratulations lovely! Happy new boobs! I would say the pain isn’t too much worse the folllowing couple of days just tight and uncomfortable. The main thing I’ve suffered with is a bad back and nausea, but I’m feeling much more human now at 4DPO xxx

Yes bad back from not being able to sleep flat!
My chest is tight and a little sore but way more manageable than I thought it would be at 1dpo.

@cherrelle I have a 4 year old and a 1 and a half year old! So far it hasn’t been too bad but I can’t pick them up or give them the big cuddles I would like.

Just read my notes I actually got 325cc not 300. Not sure how much of a difference that would really make.

I was told it would be 275, 300 or 325 depending on how it looked in theatre! I said to my surgeon that I trusted him and was happy to go with what he thought I as best. I mean he does do it for a living so he knows what he’s doing!

I’m 7dpo tomorrow’ and I can’t wait for the bandages to come off!!! They are so sticky, itchy and uncomfortable!!!

But other than that I’m doing ok! I’ve been off the painkillers and muscle relaxants since 4dpo!

I can’t wait to see them tomorrow!!!

Oh and my left breast is still numb!

Oh and the bloat was very very real!!! I’m still not back to normal but it’s no where near what it was! I’ve been a little constipated which doesn’t help! Delightful!

My bandages are off!!! Best feeling in the world!
When the nurse was peeling them off I felt so amazing!!!!!

I breasts are still high and have a lot of drop and fluff to do, but I love them! I’m looking forward to the end result.

My only issue now is that my left breast the stitches are stinging/burning and I’m worried I may have pulled them out!

They aren’t dissolvable, and I need to have them taken out on Friday at the hospital, but why all of a sudden have they started hurting!! ???

Hi Hun, it might be them healing, I had that with my c section stitches as they get tight as they heal. Congrats on your new boobs I am 7 days post op today and can’t wait to get all my dressings ect, off later x

I had my dressing removed yesterday and my stitches are hurting when they didn’t before in my left I think it’s probably because the strapping is gone and not holding them now x

The pain in the stitches has died down loads to almost nothing, so yes maybe it was the removal of the support of the bandages !!!

Feeling a lot happier this evening!
