275cc too small for tall girl?

Hi all!

I’ve booked in for the 15th of February for breast enlargement but am now thinking to cancel.

I’m 5’9, very pear shaped, upper body carries pretty much no fat (and that means the breasts too unfortunately aha) , carry most of my weight on my hips thighs and bum so wanted to be quite proportionate as I am completely flat chested.

I had a consultation with a really good surgeon, all his work looks amazing, he creates a really good shaped breast but doesn’t seem to like bigger breasts too much. He said the biggest he would take me is 275cc as any bigger and it will look fake because I have no breast tissue, he said during the surgery he would attempt to fit a slightly bigger implant (say 310cc) but it’s unlikely. I don’t want massive boobs but I’ve seen a few pictures of 275cc and it’s just not what I want especially when I’m paying thousands for it. Although, on the more petite ladies it looks amazing !!

I want to see if I can get him to agree to give me 330cc (at least!!) Have you ever been able to persuade your surgeon to go bigger than what they initially quoted? Or am I beating a dead horse. Also, since I have such little breast tissue, is there any other surgeons that would give me the 330cc I’d love !! I just know 275cc will be a great improvement from having nothing.. but I can’t help but want a little bigger. I’ve read I could end up being a b ! Which i would be gutted with and would definitely want a revision. I’m not looking for humongous boobs but just wanted a small d.

Or should I just take the 275cc since I know he’s a good surgeon and at least the shape will be nice and they won’t look ‘fake’ or ‘stuck on’. With another surgeon I might get bigger boobs but the job might not be well done. Not sure what to do !! 😔

Also , will be under the muscle ! Which I’ve read makes it look even smaller. I was also interested in anatomical implants but he’s suggest round to give more fullness? But won’t these look more ‘fake’ than a larger tear drop implant ?

I had 275cc in moderate + projection. Surgeon said he couldn’t fit more and I was afraid of the high profile larger implants giving me a ‘fake look’. Now I’d seriously consider maybe 350cc in high profile!

The shape of my current ones are perfect. Just maybe lacking a few cc’s…

I’m 5”9 and I have 400 on order for surgery 10th JAN.
My surgeon said 400 would be max to keep a natural look (HP Under) X

Ah me too Maria, I did make the mistake of saying I didn’t want the fake look, but am now starting to think I’d prefer that over smaller boobs ! But I think me saying that has made him hesitant to go bigger, although I did mention I liked big boobs ! Just not TOO fake looking, but I don’t care if people can tell they are fake or anything like that.

Did your surgeon give you the option to go bigger at least ? Yeah I’d just like a few more cc’s than 275 too !! Something over 300 at least..

Ah how exciting Sammie, just a couple of weeks to go !! 400 sounds like a dream ! Did you start with a bit of breast tissue? Perhaps that’s why you’ve been able to go larger ? Xxx

Since I went to the pre op appointment SO CONVINCED on wanted moderate plus and between 275-325cc (after years of research and measuring)MAX he didn’t even suggest going high profile or bigger.

And he said he could fit maximum 275cc in mod+ (but he didn’t try to fit more in theater)

Maybe try to speak with another surgeon to get a second opinion.

Pic is now 2 months post op. (They look a lot bigger than they are)

If I could manage to get a revision surgery to do a re augmentation I’d still do it with my surgeon though. I can’t absolutely complain about his work and recovery has been THE EASIEST.

They do look great!! I can see why you’d want them done by the same surgeon ! They are fairly big too but yeah I can only imagine how frustrating it would be to be disappointed with the size and not get it as big as you’d hoped. What cc do you plan on changing them to if you go ahead with the revision ? Will they do the revision free of charge ? X

Yeah I will try to speak to another surgeon I suppose but want to see if I can get my current one to change his mind but will probably be unlikely. X

What dress size are you? I’m 5’10” and also mentioned wanting natural results. My surgeon suggested 325-350cc, but i think now I’ve done a bit more research that 350-400 will be better for my frame, so I’m going backfor another discussion as I’m booked for Feb.

I’m a size 10, but often an 8 on top due to lack of boobs. I’ve emailed to go back sooner to discuss but it usually takes over a week or (sometimes two) for a response from my surgeons pa. :-/ might try calling tomorrow as there’s not long left until Feb.

I’d love 350-400 too tbh but can’t imagine many surgeons would give me 400 as I don’t have enough breast tissue to cover it. 325-350 also sounds amazing !!

The first sizer my surgeon gave me to try was 150cc….. I was not impressed whatsoever.. then he let me go to 275cc (which I said looked small to me!) He wouldn’t even let me try on anything bigger !! He said two sizes up from being flat chested would make a major difference, I agree ! But.. I’m greedy and want big boobs , not just ‘bigger’ boobs, feels quite frustrating. He put a lot of emphasis on the shape being more important than the size but I can’t see why I can’t just go 75cc more and still have a good shape ! xxx

He also looked horrified when I said I’d like a bigger implant aha. Glad to see I’m not crazy and that other people want something in the same range, I personally didn’t think 300-400 seemed humongous but was starting to wonder if it was bigger than I thought xx

I had 400cc extra hgmugh profile under the muscle my other surgeon before this recomemmened 340 but my new surgeon said 400 and extra high and I think they look low and not that fake as other peoples ive seen xx

I have seen some girls with smaller implants and they look dead nice i just don’t think mine look round underneath like other peoples but they might when they drop I don’t no x

If you aren’t 100% sure go back for another consultation. You may even need to go to a different surgeon for a second opinion. After all you are paying a lot of money for these!
I decided on 375cc during my first consultation but went back for a second one and am now having 425-450cc. I would rather regret being too big than too small!

I wear a padded 32b/c and it gapes I can’t fill it.
Flat with a slope and slight bit of boob, it’s under the muscle – partial, high profile.
He has said I can check again on the day he’s ordered me 375’s and 400’s. which was nice – given I’m so indecisive ha!

Leila, If I had to get them re done I’d probably go with 350-375 HP I think as I don’t think he could fit a lot more in mod+ profile…

I’m 5’8 and 169 kgs but I was a wide chest of 34/36 with an A-B . I was worried about getting them too big or too small as everything I saw online under 300 I thought wasn’t big enough so I asked my surgeon to put around 400 in and other surgeons said the max they would do would be 450. I just kind of felt like it was not really enough and I was so worried and when I went in to see my surgeon he actually put 600 in and looking at them now I would have gone bigger but I’m still strapped down only 15 days post-op. so I wouldn’t focus too much on the actual CC because on everybody’s body it looks so different depending on how wide you are and the surgeons will know how much they can put in. get many different opinions so that you feel confident with the general census but also do some measuring tape yourself to figure out how far you want them to come out. I found it helpful sounding in front of the mirror putting my hands out where I would want them to be and then measuring this so that I was able to give the surgeon so many different measurements about my ideas to communicate.

How are you? I am booked in 19th Jan for an uplift with implants. I am really really struggling and stressing about sizing…especially because I cannot take anyone to the appointment.
I have a big frame, I am 5ft 10, size 10…with muscular build. I already wear a 36D but I have lost around 100lbs so I am very very flat…hence the operation. I do not want to go too big or fake looking. I am torn between 275 & 300cc, it will be a high profile implant to help with fullness. It will be over the muscle. If anyone has any advice or photos I would so appreciate it. Sian xxx

How have all you taller ladies got on? I’ve my final consultation on Wednesday and am still dithering over size

I didn’t manage to get another consultation elsewhere but I’m still booked for the 15th of Feb and have paid a deposit.

I have my final consultation on the 5th of Feb – I spoke to surgeon over the phone and he kept suggesting that any larger than 275cc will look fake on my frame :/ he did say he wants to examine me again and decide which implants to order on the 5th and will try to go as big as he possibly can go in surgery. I was thinking to tell him to do the biggest he can but no bigger than 350cc (doubt he would do as big as that anyway haha). Does anyone know if 350cc is a good size for me to try and convince him to do? I want to be a small d/full c.

I’ve also gained about a stone since I met him in November ! Hopefully this will come in handy in getting him to give me a bigger size now I’m slightly ‘bigger framed ‘ haha.

I’ve heard 275cc might only take me to a b! Not sure if that’s true.

I’ve seen other patients of his with 275cc and it looks a good size but they did start out with some breast tissue.

That’s a good idea dolly about the tape ! I’m yet to try the rice test too.

Sian I feel the exact same about not being allowed to take someone with you!! Would be soo much easier to have someone else’s opinion at consultation.

It makes me so nervous thinking about going too big or too small… So difficult chosing the size.

I’m off to see my surgeon tomorrow. I’ve got a load of pics to show him and hoping I’ll feel happier once we’ve agreed a size. All feels a bit up in the air at the mo. I’m going to ask for 400cc I think. I must have looked at a 100 photos and feel like I’m finally getting my head around sizing

Yeah I’m sure you’ll feel good once you get a size confirmed ! Then you’ll probably be really excited aha! Something to look forward to. Let me know how it goes. Did you try on 400cc sizers the last time you went ? My surgeon didn’t let me try anything that big hahaa 🤣 so jel..don’t think I’d be able to fit 400cc as don’t have much breast tissue.

Good idea about the pics.. think I’ll get a collection together too haha.

I’ve looked at so many photos too.. but the cc’s look completely diff on diff people as they say. Will just gather a collection of what I want it to look like rather than searching up sizes or cc’s I suppose.

Ok, I’ve decided on 375. I’m going round, unders, as I have very little upper breast tissue. I tried the 350 and 375. 350 felt ok, but when i tried the 375 it felt better. 3 werks to go now. He said to looking at photos isnt that helpful. He said if i went to 400, that could take me to an E, which I dont want, but 375 should be DD.

I have my final consultation this Friday too – then surgery on the 15th. I’m currently and empty 34b-c. I think the size of implant they offer is also linked to chest wall and breast base measurement. He’s ordering 350 and 375 for the day, but I’m fixed on the larger. I do want a natural result but want to balance out my shoulders and hips.

Yeah I think 375cc will still look so natural on you, esp being a b/c I reckon you still have the breast tissue to cover it and I’ve noticed when people start off with ’empty’ sizes it always looks sooo good and natural after as it doesn’t look as overly tight.. from the pics I’ve seen they always end up looking more perky and less fake if that makes sense ! The implant just sits so much better

Yeah – that’s true actually- I have thought about it and I don’t have much breast tissue and my chest wall is quite narrow so I suppose I do understand if he can’t go bigger then 305.. I imagine i’d get the same opinion elsewhere. just happy that I got into the 300s haha 🤣 will see if he’ll order anything bigger but starting to accept it’s probably unlikely

Hi Leila, I hope your surgery went well and you are happy with your results! Could I please ask what size you went for in the end? I have the exact same stats and also confused whether to go for 275cc or 300cc! (300 would have to be under the muscle due to little breast tissue) my surgery is on 8th March xxx

Hi guys. This pic is 9 days post op. I ended up going with 305cc, round unders. They still need to ‘drop and fluff’s but I am so happy with the size ! Just wanted to post a pic for anyone who is still thinking about size x

Thank you Grace ! Yes it went well, the recovery was a little worse than I expected but I think the implants were quite big for me and placed under the muscle with very little breast tissue. They change every day but I am so happy with them. I’d say you’d be happy with both 270 and 300 tbh ! I wouldn’t be disheartened if mine were slightly smaller I don’t think, it depends what look you’re going for. At the moment mine do look pretty fake in real life but I wonder if that will change in time. Xxx
